"Let's break up!"

Under the huge apple tree located at the New Leaf University, two boys were having a conversation. Until one boy said he wanted to break up, everything seemed to be peaceful.

"What? Why suddenly?"

The boy in front of him raised his voice in disbelief. It must have been unexpected for him.

As he got upset and kept asking why, the other boy kept watching him with his sharp and cold eyes.

"Sigh...Rexy, so you really don't know why I am asking to break up? Mm?"

He didn't even move. He just kept glaring and asked only one question.

"No, why? We were all good, weren't we? Are you angry because I didn't come to your treat yesterday? Let's go today. I will treat you."

The boy named Rexy who didn't want to break up kept trying to coax him. But he didn't seem to move.

"Rexy, I hate liars. But more than that, I hate fucking liars who act all friendly."

He crossed his hands and sharpened his gaze on Rexy.

"Henry...What is wrong with you? Why are you doing this?"

Rexy suddenly couldn't figure out what was wrong with him.

He looked helpless. 

"Let me tell you a story."

Henry walked two steps closer to him and stopped again. As he talked he rummaged through his bag. 

"Once upon a time, there was a boy named Rexy. And he had a lover named Henry. And that Henry also had a sister who is younger than him. When Rexy accidentally saw Henry's sister, Rexy fell in love at first sight. But he already had a lover. So he couldn't approach that girl. But his desire for her was stronger than his love for Henry. So he finally talked with Henry's sister secretly. Eventually, they fell in love. But he wanted Henry too. So he dealt with the siblings as he planned. But!-"

Henry stopped talking and showed a photo from his phone. While the screen was very close to Rexy's face, Henry continued again.

"One day, Henry saw Henry's sister and Henry's lover kissing together. So he wanted to break up!"

Henry's tone got colder and colder. Rexy seemed to be stunned by his story.

He looked at the photo and then again at Henry.

"This- how can you be so careless? You really mistook me. This is Max. Can't you see? When did I even wear tops like this?"

Rexy laughed and pointed at the photo.

"Rexy, how long are you going to keep fooling around with me? Actually, your brother was very kind."

His words confused Rexy. He looked at Henry with his tightened brows.

"Haa...I feel like these days I am really lucky. A lot of coincidences have happened lately. See! What a coincidence, isn't it?"

Henry smirked, giving Rexy a bad feeling. Henry showed him another photo while his smirk was still on. Rexy went speechless.

It was a normal selfie. It was Henry and another boy who looked exactly the same as Rexy. It was Max. Rexy's twin brother. And the background was really eye-catching. It was Rexy and Henry's sister kissing while hugging each other. 

Henry was lucky enough to capture the moment with Max at the right moment, so Rexy was exposed.

Before, Henry had seen Rexy hanging out with another girl. At that time, he never knew it was Rexy and her sister. Because he was fooled by Rexy telling him it was not him, but Max, his twin brother and his girlfriend. But when he encountered such a scene in front of him, it was Max who accidentally saw him and coaxed him in the end. 

Henry was not a person to just let it go. So he took a selfie along with Max, so Rexy would lose all the excuses.

"Ah! This-"

As expected, he had nothing to say.

"Now do you know why I want to break up? Let's just break up. Get lost!"

Henry's cold voice vibrated in Rexy's ears. Henry used to be very soft and easy to coax. Everyone changes according to the situation. But Rexy never expected things to turn out this way.

Actually, Henry's sister knew well that Rexy was Henry's boyfriend. But because of her envy toward Henry, she hung out with Rexy in order to mess with Henry.

Another evil sister!

But Henry never cared. He never picked on anyone even if they meant to harm him. But that didn't mean he would let them go.

He would wait for the right time and attack them like a hunter, hunting its prey. 

He was a wolf in sheep's clothes. He was very dangerous. But his kindness always overflowed. He was not a bad person. But not a good person either. 

Hearing Henry made him lost at words, Rexy said okay and ran away while cursing. 

After his sight disappeared, Henry sat down under the tree and took out a quick snack he had in his bag.

"Agh! This doesn't taste good."

He threw it back into his bag and looked at the sky thoughtfully.

"He also left me. Grandma, what should I do?"

Henry looked down again and rubbed the back of his neck feeling a pain.

When he was about to get up, something fell heavy on his head.

"Aghh! What the-"

Then he looked down and saw an apple on the ground. He looked up again but only to see a bunch of apples.

"An apple? Oh my god! An apple fell on my head. Will I find out something great like Sir Isaac Newton did? But nothing comes to my silly mind though. It's better. I don't want to get cursed by all the students."

He thought it was funny. Like how Sir Isaac Newton realized many things under an apple tree and became a legendary scientist, was it impossible for him to be a scientist too?

Well... He had to become something else instead of that.

Suddenly he felt heavy and fell on his knees. He held his head in pain. Something vibrated in his ears. It hurt so much. He couldn't even scream out of pain. He hugged himself and fell unconscious. 

Everything happened in a blinking moment. Even Henry, himself didn't have any time to realize what was happening to him.

No one noticed the boy fainted there. Under the apple tree, the body on the ground turned into flower petals and mixed with the wind.

His existence was erased from the world. 

...

"Aw! Shit! My head- Agh!"

Henry opened his eyes while cursing the apple. He thought he fainted because an apple fell on his head.

Was it really? He didn't know.

To his surprise, the surroundings looked a little different. As he tried to get up while looking around, he felt a pain in the back of his head. He touched it there and only to realise it was wet with some kind of liquid. And some places felt like they were frozen. But it hurt so much.

As he touched and looked at his fingers it was all red.

Blood!

He didn't know how an apple could harm this much. But after a few seconds, he knew it was not the apple. There was a big wound on his head. It was bleeding heavily covering the clothes he was wearing. 

He felt very helpless. And the surroundings also looked unfamiliar. Even though he was still under an apple tree, it was not the same tree he argued with Rexy under.

It was clear he was in a different place.

How come?

Did he get transported? Then wow!

At the same time, his confused brain caught another answer but also a question. The dramatic answer to his problems, but also the weirdest question he would ask himself.

"Wow! Did I perhaps transmigrate into a novel?"

He felt a little excited even though it hurt. It was pretty famous and an easy way to get yourself out of that ugly reality, wasn't it?

For a moment ago, that was what he also just wanted.

Just get lost from the world so he could get some rest without having to deal with anything.

But disappointment hugged him soon.

"I had never read any novel!"

He had never read novels other than educational books. He had not read at least one novel. He had never even read a web novel. 

Such a person existed in that world before, but not anymore.

As a person who didn't get the purpose of reading novels, the thing about transmigrating into a novel was known by him because Rexy used to be a fan of those novels. He would talk about them, but Henry never got them. But still, he trusted that transmigrating was a real thing. His thoughts were really hard to understand.

Henry held onto the apple tree and got up slowly. But with the unbearable pain, he lost balance. Feeling his sight was also getting dark, he quickly sat down before getting a limb broken. Then fainted while he was still groaning in pain.

'Someone please help me, it hurts!'

But the words didn't come out. He lost consciousness.
