Feeling confused

I slowly opened my eyes and felt my head was very dizzy. I looked up and realized that I was now in the room, then glanced to the side and found Richard staring at me with no expression at all.

I was confused, I don't know why he was looking at me like that, and I immediately remembered the moment before I lost consciousness. instantly my father-in-law's face haunted my head, especially when he looked confused after his cunning was exposed and my mother-in-law was very angry with him, then he even asked the police to handcuff him.

"How's your dad?" I ask.

"As you wish, he won't be jailed," Richard replied, then stroked my cheek.

I smiled with relief.

"But I hate him," Richard said again.

I tilted my position and then caressed Richard's jaw. "Don't hate your parents no matter how bad they are..."
