JAY'S POV:
The air was completely shifting and soon became heavy enough to make our lungs burst, but thanks to the mana layers we had recently covered our bodies with our bodies retained enough heat to warm it up.
Not to mention the wind was getting strong, followed by snow making it hard to see our surroundings.
But all in all our eyes never shifted from utop the cliff where hungry Horned wolves were looking down at us.
Without warning a blazing gush of fire blasted from the cliff followed by an exploding noise.
An object was suddenly dropping towards us down, it landed then bounced a bit off the snow before completely laying still.
Sure enough it was on of the Horned Wolves completely burnt to a crisp, leaving only a charred corpse laying in the snow.
"Find a way out of there back to the top and on to the main road and re-group with us and the rest of the carriages!" a commanding voice resonated in the air.
