Dinner With Future In Laws.(Edited)

Once Mark and Runeas ended their conversation with Zeoticus, they left for their room along with Mark's pet hellhound. When they entered the room they were prepared Mark almost could not believe what he was seeing.

He held his stomach as he could not help but laugh at the sight of the huge bed in the middle of the even bigger room.

"Runeas, what is up with the giant bed? I may be big, but I am not that big."

She rolled her eyes as she looked at it. Just as she was about to explain, Mark's pet did not wait. He jumped on the bed and started to roll on it to mark it with his scent. Runeas explained what the main reason for the big room and bed was.

"Well, Noble Devils often have huge harems. So the big bed is to fit a big harem on it. Does that sound nice for you Mr. Dragon in the making?"

Mark shrugged.

"I guess it does."

His pet crawled onto his lap with a wagging tail. Mark scratched his neck making the demon dog kick in joy.

"This is why I love dogs. They are just perfect."

Runeas sat next to him as she looked at Mark's pet.

"You going to name and sign a contract with him?"

Mark nodded.

"It is about time. Ready?"

The hellhound nodded as Mark began. He sent his Dragon Mana toward the hellhound to sign a familiar contract with him. He thought of a good name for a bit before he decided on one.

"Grimnar."

When Grimnar accepted the contract and his name, Mark felt a connection to his soul. Instantly Mark's mana was absorbed in mass by Grimnar which caused the Hellhound to float in the air. Mark held his hand out as a massive amount of his mana surrounded the dog in a cacoon. Though black and silver stripes covered the cacoon which caused both Runeas and Mark to be left speechless.

She looked at the cacoon and then at Mark who was the most confused.

"Mark, did you do that on purpose?"

Mark shook his head.

"No, he just started to absorb a lot of my mana and this happened."

Ddraig had an idea as to what could have happened.

[I believe I know what happened. When you signed the contract you did not use normal mana. You have replaced all your mana with Dragon Mana which rivals Divinity in power. As such, the new energy was so powerful that Grimnar here is replacing all of his energy with it, but he needed evolution to do it. So this is the result.]

Mark and Runeas felt that would explain it. They both sat next to each other and watched the cacoon of Dragon Mana which began to shrink rapidly. The entire process did not take long, only about 10 minutes when the entire thing vanished.

When Grimnar appeared he looked very different. He was still in his disguise of a Russian Ovcharka, but now he had a pair of leathery dragon wings, large spikes coming out his back, and a much longer tail than before. He even had two horns coming out of his head.

Though in between them he had a very unique rune that seemed to glow red.

When he appeared he jumped on Mark who caught the evolved hellhound in his arms and could not stop wagging that long tail. Seeing this made Mark and Runeas think that this was no longer a hellhound.

[I would just call it a Dragon Dog at this point.]

Runeas smiled as she asked the dog something.

"Can you go back to normal?"

The dog nodded and all of his new features disappeared. He once again looked like a regular dog which made both of them sign in relief. It would have been hard to walk around with him if he could not look like a normal dog.

As they had time until dinner, Runeas opened a large Bounded Field where they tested Grimnar's new powers. He had all his former Hellhound powers like sinking into shadows, but now he could control the shadows to form weapons.

And he also had dragon abilities, like fire breath, and a copy of a Dragon Heart which would come in handy in a fight. He was even bigger when he returned to his true form which was 10 meters long and 5 meters tall.

Though what he got from Mark was very limited Space and Time Magic. Though his use of either was very basic. A great familiar for anyone to have, but no one could as Grimnar was the first of his kind. They ended up spending a few hours testing him, but Mark spent the rest of the time training with Runeas.

She was right when she called him a Training Maniach as his goal was a hard one. Just matching a Heavenly Dragon would place one in the upper ranks of the World's Strongest. Yet Mark wanted to surpass Ddraig and make his own power like Ddraig and Albion.

They had to stop when a maid arrived to inform them that dinner was ready and that Sirzechs had arrived. When the three of them came out of the Bounded Field Runeas and Mark did not change their attire at all as they were happy with what they were wearing.

Runeas walked over to Mark who had a short crew cut with his sunglasses. Of course, everything he was wearing was an item made with her personal Demonic Power. Meaning they would need a lot of power to damage them.

"You look perfect, what about me?"

She gave a spin as he just gave her a thumbs up.

(Mark)

(Runeas)

"You look great, we both do. But no one can compare to Grimnar."

The Dragon Dog raised his head high as if saying that his master was right. Runeas rolled her eyes as she pushed him a bit.

"Come on, we don't want to be late."

Mark shrugged as the three of them opened the door. A black-haired maid was waiting for them. She bowed toward the both of them and in silence led them to the dining room. When they arrived, Mark and Runeas sat down on one side of the table.

Mark saw how most of the Gremory family members sat across from him save for Runeas. Sally, Percy, Annabeth, and Grover were sitting with the two of them. They were not eating yet as they had not been served just yet.

Zeoticus sat across from Mark as the two of them sat at the edge of the table. Next to him was his wife, Venelana Gremory. Formerly Venelana Bael, and next to her was a red-haired teenage girl. Though Mark doubted she was 16 as her chest was bigger than Runeas already.

Runeas was currently making herself appear much younger so that may change. The girl had blue eyes and long crimson hair which were locked on him. Mark would have looked at her if he was not looking at the man he was waiting for.

Sirzechs Lucifer, the current Devil King of the Devils. He was a young-looking man who did not look much older than 20. Standing behind him was a Silver-haired Maid which Mark knew was not normal.

'Sirzechs Lucifer, a Super Devil.'

Mark instantly spoke introducing himself to the others.

"Thank you for having me and listening to us in the first place. I am Mark, the Red Dragon Emperor. Before we speak about the trouble may I ask if we can first enjoy dinner? As we will become family someday I wish to know all of you."

Zeoticus already liked Mark quite a bit. Mostly he trusted Runeas who had chosen Mark herself. If she considered his character good, then so did he.

"I think that is a lovely idea. As we will be together with each other for centuries to come it is best if we can take a moment to learn all there is about us. You met me of course, but this is the rest of my family."

Venelana smiled as she looked at Mark. She leaned forward which caused her low-cut dress to reveal a large portion of her chest.

"Welcome to our home, consider it your home as well. I am Venelana Gremory."

Next was Rias who gave Mark a polite and cute smile.

"Hi, I am Rias Gremory. It is nice to meet you."

Mark nodded.

"Same here, both of you. And Sirzechs?"

Sirzechs smiled as he nodded.

"Yes. I am Sirzechs the current Devil King, and I am your future descendent-in-law. Or should I call you Ancestor?"

Mark and Runeas both laughed, but she just shook her head.

"Don't bother with all that neither me nor Mark care about being called that. Just call us by name, when we have time I want to spend more time with all of you. But, let's just enjoy a good meal shall we?"

Everyone agreed as the chefs began to spread out the appetizers. Percy, Sally, Annabeth, and Grover were confused about all the new dishes they were shown, but they were not rude enough to not try them.

Percy cut into a blue-looking stake and cut into it. When he took a bite, he was hit with a wave of flavor. Percy leaned back in his seat more than happy with just this. But then he grabbed a small yellow paste on a flower-like pastry.

When he bit into the pasty, he felt it was even better.

"This is delicious, what is it?"

Zeoticus smiled as he enjoyed the appetizer as well.

"Boiled Frenzy Beetle eggs."

Percy instantly looked weirded out which was normal. But he still took another bite with how good it was. His mom would have scolded him if he rejected the goodwill of a host. But even she was enjoying these too much.

"What are Frenzy Beetles?"

Rias answered that with a smile.

"They look like Japanese Rhinoceros Beetles, but the size of a tank. They lay their eggs only once every 25 years making these rare and sought after as they are delicious. Though they are very rare now so we have a breeding program for them in our territory."

Mark felt that was surprising.

"Can't be easy to raise many if they only lay 4 times a century."

Zeoticus shook his head.

"Not at all, even for us 25 years is a while. So only big clans like us can enjoy these."

As Mark enjoyed the food, Rias kept glancing at him. She was informed by her father that he was not going to join a Peerage, which she was fine with. She was a little disappointed, but she respected his choice.

Instead, she just wanted to see if he could not help her out with her situation at all. Mark turned to look at her which made her pause making them look at each other for a while.

"Rias, is there something wrong?"

She shook her head.

"Oh, no. Nothing is wrong it is just that you are the Red Dragon Emperor, a user of the Longinous. It is rare to meet one of you so I was curious as to what you were like."

Mark smiled.

"Well, I hope you think of me fondly."

They all laughed as the next courses came. Throughout the rest of the dinner, everyone spoke freely of themselves. Mark learned how Zeoticus and Venelana were arranged to marry, but they fell in love with each other fast.

They just matched well, and he also got that Rias was a huge otaku for Japan. She loved Japan, and she was currently studying at Kuoh Academy. As for Sirzechs, he was in a TV show that aired in the Underworld starring him.

They also asked a lot about him, Runeas, and even Mark's demigod companion. All in all, it was a terrific way to break the ice with all of them, but once dinner ended it was time to talk business.

Mark spoke up to Sirzechs first.

"I am currently working as a mercenary for Poseidon. Originally I was tasked with bringing Percy, his son to the training ground of the Greek demigods. Though things got more complicated once we learned what trouble is stirring in the Greek Pantheon. It is bad."

Zeoticus nodded as he drank his wine.

"The symbol of power of a god is a weapon that can unleash untold devastation in the wrong hands. And the god in question was Zeus, not a god well-liked."

Percy filled them in on the worst part.

"And the real trouble is that he is blaming my father for being behind the theft. He thinks my father ordered me to steal it and he wants it returned or he will wage war. And my father demands an apology or he will wage war. Which is why we are here.

I received a prophecy that reads as such. You shall go west, and face the god who has turned, You shall find what was stolen, and see it safely returned, You shall be betrayed by one who calls you a friend, And you shall fail to save what matters most, in the end."

They all went silent as they heard the full prophecy. Mark instantly filled in the blanks.

"The entrance to the Greek section of the Underworld is in Los Angels, the god of the west is Hades, and the friend who will betray Percy is some guy named Luke, but for two parts of it I am drawing a blank."

Annabeth was going to say something but stopped herself. Sirzechs thought about each line of the prophecy which made him understand.

"I see, facing Hades is out of any of your reach. And to stop the war between Poseidon and Zeus needs for the Lightning to be returned. If those two gods wage war, it will drag the entire pantheon into flames. Destroying all of North America which would spark a war with more pantheons in the aftermath.

This can't be permitted. I have made up my mind, I will accompany you to face Hades. I hope he sees reason."

Mark felt that was fine.

"As long as he does not kill us the moment he sees us. All we need is to try to convince him to avoid war and simply return the bolt if he has it. Will you alone be enough Sirzechs?"

Instead of answering, Mark just got a smile from the Devil King. That smile spoke a thousand words which was great. Annabeth asked what was on her mind.

"When do we leave?"

When Sirzechs stood up Grayfia walked next to him.

"We leave at once."

With a wave of his hand, Sirzechs' Demon King armor appeared over him. Sally obviously was not going to go with them.

"I shall stay, I would be of no help."

Runeas also planned to not go.

"I am in hiding so I think I will talk with Venelana and Rias for a while."

Mark shrugged as he looked at Annabeth, Grover, and Percy.

"Come on you three, we got a god to talk to."

They did not look too happy as they stood next to Sirzechs and Grayfia. In a wave of his hand he teleported them away to the border of Hades' domain. The Land of the Dead.

Issei's Harem wanting rubbed off on Mark and his Red Dragon bloodline. Also Disclaimer, Mark still won't be involved in cannon stuff very much. He will stay mostly in America for the next 2 years until the start and even then he will keep out of it mostly.
