Kakashi's sleepless night

(Third PoV)

Kakashi entered the palace. First, he had to put his hand on a tablet made of chakra metal, where he recorded his chakra signature.

Then, he was allowed inside.

The palace was massive, covering almost half of the Uchiha clan compound. And when he entered the main house, he marveled at the drawings. But taking a closer look, they were all seals, made up of very small 'Sanskrit' words that Shiori invented, carved into Hashirama wood, and placed within various metals.

Shiori led him to the main room along with Naruto and still unconscious Karin.

She took the main seat on the tatami floor, and looked at Kakashi straight in the eye.

"Please make sure that Karin and Naruto are resistant to genjutsu, especially Sharingan genjutsu."

"Umm-"

"I have a gadget. Please test it. Naruto, be ready."

Kakashi looked at the gauntlet that Naruto was wearing.

Nodding, he revealed his Sharingan, and used a genjutsu on Naruto.

Naruto was under genjutsu for a moment, but was automatically broken out of it almost immediately.

"Please use your strongest genjutsu."

Kakashi looked hesitant, but in the end, tried his strongest genjutsu.

The same thing happened. Naruto was broken out of the genjutsu.

"Please try more. Maybe put more chakra into your Sharingan? Isn't there a higher level of Sharingan?"

Kakashi was dumbfounded.

Still, he put more chakra, and the three tomoe Sharingan spun and formed a new pattern. Of Mangekyo Sharingan.

Kakashi noticed his chakra rapidly draining, and took out a kunai, watching his reflection.

"This-!"

He stopped actively putting chakra into his Sharingan, and it reverted into the three-tomoe stage.

Activating it for the first time, even though he has been training a lot to prepare for the coming doom, so he has more chakra than he had in War Arc, it still made him tired.

"Please try that advanced Sharingan-"

"No. I will need to first determine if it is safe."

Shiori sighed. Kakashi's Sharingan is undoubtedly one of the most powerful Sharingan, probably even more than Itachi's. While Sasuke's Mangekyo abilities in canon were trash, his Sharingan was the strongest, being able to break out of Tsukuyomi in base.

She needed to test how well her gauntlet would work against Obito's Sharingan.

Well, that testing will be pushed back for later.

"Can you try these goggles?"

Shiori handed him goggles, with a black glass on his Sharingan side.

"While I have created a seal that will seal your Sharingan and can be activated with an influx of chakra, there is a huge chance of damage due to not supplying chakra-

Wait!

What if doing that will deactivate your Sharingan? I mean, instead of completely sealing off the chakra flow, just reducing it?

Has the Fourth Hokage tried it?"

Shiori suddenly had this idea. But she knew that if Minato tried it, and failed, there is little chance that she will succeed.

"No. But I don't want to seal it, even temporarily. I don't want to you to be playing with my organs."

"Of course. I would need Tsunade-sama to help me in the medical part of the procedure. But remember, you must protect Naruto at all costs. If necessary, you should atleast try it."

Shiori wanted to transplant a Sharingan in Naruto, preferably Sasuke's. So that it can evolve into Rinnegan. While chakra expenditure is not a problem for him, reducing the chakra expenditure is still something that she would try if possible. And Kakashi was the perfect test subject for her.

While she was thinking about this, Kakashi was actually moved by her try to increase his strength.

"Alright. You can sleep in Naruto's room which is next to mine. Let Karin rest today. I will explain things to her when she wakes up tomorrow."

"Alright."

Kakashi picked up Karin, and put her on her bed.

Meanwhile, Naruto and Shiori went to her bedroom, and Kakashi went to Naruto's.

This arrangement was to ensure that they are safe. And there were no bedrooms near theirs.

But now that Kakashi thought about it, shouldn't he have slept with Naruto instead? Afterall, the bed is big, and they are boys.

'Well... they are kids. Sleeping together isn't a big deal.'

Not thinking much, Kakashi first took a look at Naruto's room.

A standard Konoha chakra blade, mangas, and a bunch of photos of him and Shiori together.

Kakashi suddenly got an idea. What if he discovered Naruto's hentai manga stash, and used it to blackmail him during the test tomorrow?

Kakashi silently looked through everything, but sadly, he didn't find any hentai.

'Well, Naruto seems like an innocent kid.'

But suddenly, his ears perked up.

He put his ear against the wall, and eavesdropped on the conversation between Naruto and Shiori.

"Hey Shiori-chan. Is Karin alright?"

"I hope so. She was probably attacked due to being an Uzumaki, or because you are Fourth Hokage's son."

Naruto knows that he is Fourth Hokage's son!?

Well, it seems like either Hokage-sama, or Shiori herself has told him.

"So-"

"Shh! You are sleeping with me today. Just focus on me. Kiss me."

Kakashi shuddered. It was best to move away from the wall and stop actively using his ANBUs special skills of eavesdropping.

But... he was too curious...

"Mhhm... Your skills with tongue are even better than mine..."

...

"Hey! Not there! My feet are ticklish-"

Kakashi stopped eavesdropping.

He quietly went to the bed, and stared at the ceiling.

He had Minato-sensei and Kushina checking up on him at this age. And he has never felt attraction to anyone in his life.

The only romance he has experienced is through Jiraiya-sama's novels and their manga adaptations.

And even considering Jiraiya-sama, his works weren't... this freaky...

Perhaps, they need some adult to look over them? Puberty is a phase that not only brings edginess like he had, but also...

Kakashi didn't want Naruto to become a father before him.

All night, Kakashi's eyes were staring at ceiling. He couldn't catch a wink of sleep.
