End of the Competition

After Hade helped Naomi rescue Aliandra from the boulder, they regrouped with Iolana, and together, the four of them began to look for other casualties who had been hurt from the explosion.

Fortunately, the number of students hurt was much lower than Hade first anticipated.

It seemed that most had either been too far away from the ring when the explosion happened, or, like Hade, they too had also managed to cast timely defensive spells to protect themselves. 

As the minutes began to pile on, Hade was starting to wonder, just where was Professor Miller as all this was going on? It had nearly been 5 full minutes since the explosion occurred yet the loli professor was still nowhere to be seen.

Was irresponsibility a trademark of the professors here at the Five Imperial Schools? Hade was really starting to believe so.

'First Novin and now this…' Hade could not help but slowly begin to lose faith in the white-clad educators.
