Chapter 50

'Shadow Garden is filled with insane girls.' I thought wryly as I was well aware that due to their childhood being filled with the agony of their demonic possession and declining bodies. That they all had developmental issues. 

To say nothing of how they were focused on ripping the roots of the Cult of Diabolos out of the world which kept them from fully integrating back into society.

But seeing some five hundred-plus members of the Shadow Garden all having fun and eating while relaxing with the other girls they had formed bonds with. It was a beautiful sight.

That and there wasn't an ugly girl in Shadow Garden due to their bloodline descending from the heroes of old... So seeing them in swimsuits was certainly nice. 

I just lazily floated across a more empty part of the massive pool that the girls typically used for their training as they would use weights and fight deep underwater as a form of resistance training. While I was floating by I saw Tamamo walking into the pool party with the white-haired nine-tailed kitsune Nakime and the sight made my lips twitch seeing Tamamo already in her swimsuit while Nakime was wearing a more conservative kimono.

"Boss!" I heard Delta yell through the water in my ears and my eyes went wide as Delta like a cannonball flew through the air and before I could react, just bellyflopped onto my stomach smashing me into the water and making me drown... Just a little.

Even as I swam back to the surface Delta had already climbed onto my back and had her arms and legs wrapped around my sides as she held herself tightly to my side like a limpet.

"Delta!" I groaned earning a giggle from the excitable wolf beastkin.

"Boss! Boss! Everyone is having soooo much fun Haha!" Delta said happily as she pointed at Zeta who had climbed up into the indoor pool rafters to eat some fish while watching everyone swimming, and of course be well out of the way of being splashed. "Look, even the stupid cat is having fun watching everyone in the water!" 

Zeta in response to Delta's words made a rude hand gesture, but Delta didn't care at all as she was more busy squishing me in her arms and legs. "Boss, they got some super tasty boar meat I hunted, come and eat some before the other beastkin eat it all!"

I patted Delta's thigh clutching my side and I said wryly. "Alright alright Delta, I will eat what you hunted." 

Delta excitedly cheered and as I used my mana to propel us out of the pool as it was hard to properly swim with the excited wolf beastkin grabbing me everywhere, I realized something.

"Delta... You are actually wearing a swimsuit?!" I asked in wonder.

As I got us out of the pool I heard Delta growl as she got off my back and I looked back and took in her bikini-clad form... Which was a sight different from her, in her slime outfit. Or just being naked, as she and all other beastkin hated underwear with a passion.

While I got my food, Delta loudly complained about the rather plain black bikini she was wearing in great detail. "I know Boss! It's totally restrictive, and... Blegh but Alpha, and Beatrix told the beastkin girls they would beat us up in training if we went naked! They are totally evil tyrants!" Delta howled at the end.

I couldn't help but smile at Delta's exaggerated anguish. "Be a good girl Delta, its for the best." I said soothingly as I patted the wolf beastkin between the ears before getting into the rack of pork ribs from the boar she hunted.

 Which... Was absolutely delightful in all honestly, and in turn the sight of seeing me enjoy the meat of her hunt. Made Delta very happy and she began speaking excitedly. "Oh yeah Boss!" Delta spoke to get my attention and I raised an eyebrow. "How is your harem plan going? I really want a bunch of sister mates and a bunch of kids to spoil!" 

If it wasn't for Delta asking me this... Like once a week I might have choked on my food and so would have the human and elf members of Shadow Garden in hearing range. But Delta was nothing but simple, so it wasn't surprising.

So I just teased back. "But Delta, I wanted you to carry all one hundred children!" 

Delta's happy face went completely flat and she hurriedly put up an X with her arms in front of her chest as she said fiercely. "No Boss! A woman can only give birth twice before her body gets weaker... So you need fifty mates from Shadow Garden to give you two kids so I can have one hundred children to spoil! My father had more than a hundred mates as well remember!"

My lips twitched and the number who was bringing me a drink almost fumbled at Delta's logic but thankfully she prevented herself from falling over. 

"Thanks," I said with a smile at the number who flushed under Delta and my own gaze.

There was a moment of heavy silence as people focused on the girl and even as a flush entered the elf's cheeks and long ears. I could just barely hear her say softly to me. "If you want... I am ready to be a mother."

I couldn't help but choke on my drink as it was one thing to hear Delta saying shamelessly she wanted my kids but this Number was known to be more of a wallflower like Beta and her weird fetish for writing erotic books about me taking her in weird situations.

"I will remember you... When I am ready for that responsibility," I spoke as seriously as I could. And the elf flushed a dark red and quickly beat a retreat while Delta cackled saying that I needed to get started on the harem plan.

Thankfully my sanity was saved as Alpha and Beatrix were walking over and Delta, seeing the statuesque blondes walking clearly towards me, quickly dove into the pool to avoid the stronger blondes who kept her on a leash most of the time.
