If they knew what was going on, they didn't show any signs of it, they just set up their cameras quickly and efficiently for a speech from the podium along one wall, and snapped a few still shots of the round table meeting.

The meeting itself was paused as they worked, and then the General stood to take his place in front of the Grand Dutchies Flag hung on the wall. He paused for a second, then gestured for it to be taken down, revealing the original decorative forest scene that was painted behind it.

That caught the attention of the camera operators, who Wolfe could tell were witch blooded villagers without enough potential to have an aura.
