A knocking sound jolted Sid awake from his slumber.
As he rose from his bed, he felt fully rested, the lingering exhaustion from his previous day's fully gone. He stretched his arms and yawned, taking in a deep breath of fresh morning air. The sound of birds chirping outside his window also brought a smile to his face as he started to feel the energy returning to his body.
"Who's there?" He called out.
"It's me, Evangeline," a sweet voice replied from the other side of the door.
'Evangeline? What is she doing here this early in the morning?' He thought to himself as he quickly donned his clothing.
"Wait, I'm still preparing," he replied, feeling a bit flustered.
After finishing up, he slowly approached the door and opened it.
But as Sid opened the door, he was taken aback by the sight before him.
Standing there was Evangeline, dressed in a simple but proper dress that accentuated her beauty. This was the first time he had seen her in such exquisite attire, and he couldn't help but be surprised by how stunning she looked. The subtle touches of makeup only added to her radiance, leaving Sid momentarily speechless.
"I—" he stammered, trying to compose himself in front of the breathtaking Evangeline.
"I'm sorry to disturb you. I just wanted to ask if you could accompany me this morning," She spoke with a shy voice.
"To where?" Sid asked, scratching his head while gazing at Evangeline's healthy curves under her dress.
"My father asked me to get these materials from the Gold Bid auction house. These items are for your hidden blade," Evangeline handed him the list.
Her father was supposed to get these materials, but she insisted on doing it so she could spend time with Sid.
"Of course, give me a few moments," he replied with a smile. The hidden blade was essential to him, so he was glad to get the materials for it.
"Alright," Evangeline replied with a sweet smile.

They made their way to the auction house, their steps slow and measured as they walked through the bustling streets. As they passed by the various shops and stalls, they could hear the sounds of merchants haggling with customers and people going about their daily business.
But as they walk further, he couldn't help but notice that many of the buildings still needed minor repairs after the previous explosion that had destroyed the Summer Household. Despite the city's recovery, people still talked about the great explosion.

"But that's impossible!" a third person chimed in.
"I told you, magicians do exist," the second person replied.
"I heard it was a curse," another one entered the fray.

"You're right, We have to focus on the future and what we can do to make things better." he said, a small smile forming on his lips. "

"Let's eat first before we head to the auction house," she suggested, her voice gentle and soothing.
Sid nodded in agreement, grateful for her kindness. Together, they made their way to a nearby café, where they sat down to enjoy a simple but satisfying meal.
Evangeline ordered some light meals, and as they waited for their food to arrive, they chatted about their lives and shared stories of their past.
As they ate, Sid felt his mind beginning to relax, the weight of the explosion and the mystery surrounding Darkness easing slightly. He found himself enjoying the moment, savoring the flavors of the food and the company of Evangeline.
