Heh, it was like looking at a gag anime. I was just waiting for the punchline at this point.

The silence created by the sudden intrusion seeped its way throughout the entire vehicle. Nobody made a peep, even the usually noisy suspects kept their lips together as we all looked on in wait....

....

.......Uhhh.... "Well?"

The archer tilted her head, something that I couldn't even imagine doing while being upside down. "I was merely... soaking in the ambiance."

...What?

Everybody tilted their heads in unison, and I didn't even know such a thing was possible in the first place. Mathilde wasn't one to delay something like this, let alone make a fvcking joke! The woman was stoicism incarnate! She never made jokes, ever!

"Mathilde?"

"Yes?"

My own head tilted further, mimicking her angle as I stared at her in disbelief, "Did you just make a joke?"
