Hearing Anna rummage through her stuff while not knowing where Mathilde went, I weakly opened my mouth to relay my suspicions, "P-Poi..."
A small gag stopped me from finishing my sentence, but not before Anna quickly went to my side; the vibration coming off the ground suggesting that she was practically panicking again.
No need to panic if you're a trained professional, Anna... I really couldn't afford you to choke now.
"What is it?" she frantically asked.
Another gag made me taste stomach acid as I painfully swallowed it back down. The nausea was suffocating, more so than anything I had ever experienced before. The strange pressure crashing over me still hadn't dissipated. In fact, it had only grown stronger to the point that I was sweating bullets despite the decent weather.
Definitely signs of poisoning if I ever saw one.
