Angela's hands were trembling, her shoulders shaking, the gravity of my words hit her very core.
Like an abandoned kitten facing a fierce storm, she needed shelter.
A shelter that can provide her a sense of warmth, a sense of solace…..and that's what I offered her.
"Shhh!"
"Shhh, it's okay!"
"Now, you are already dyed in my colours from the inside out. Probably no one would want a defiled woman, but it's okay!"
"It's okay because I will never abandon you...."
There was a slight pause in my words.
"B-But Carolina now hates me…..I think I can't fulfil my master's mission too anymore; I am too naive! I thought I almost fooled you!"
Angela shed a stream of tears, but even she didn't know why. She, for some reason, clenched Shenshah's shirt hard. Perhaps his gentle embrace provided a false sense of security she desperately needed.
