The beautiful red moon hung in the sky, night had fallen in Backlund and a strong wind was blowing through the streets.
The Church of the Evernight Goddess was empty, only some caretakers who were in charge of taking care of the church.
While one of those caretakers who was an older man was cleaning the last row of benches,he heard a loud knock on the church door.
'Who can it be at this hour?' the man thought somewhat annoyed as he went to the door and opened it.
The lamp that should have to be on to illuminate the entrance was off, which did not allow him to see the appearance of the man in front of him.
The only thing he could see was that the man was quite tall and was wearing a somewhat short windbreaker that only reached below his shoulder, he had the hood up and due to the contrast with the red light of the moon he could not see his face well.
"Sir, the church is closed so please come back tomorrow" was the only thing he said and he was going to close the door but the man's foot stopped him.
Looking at the stranger in front of him with surprise due to this rude movement he was going to yell at him but before that happened the stranger handed him a letter and then spoke.
"Sorry for the inconvenience, I would have preferred to nail it to the door but I was afraid the wind would blow it away, you know how strong the Backlund wind is at night~" the man's voice was somewhat dark and provocative but this had scared the caretaker.
"Again sir, the church is closed if you want to donate you will have to do it tomorrow" the caretaker replied with some force.
He was using all his strength to even tremble from the effort to try to close the door but the man's foot wouldn't budge and he didn't seem to care about his efforts.
"hehe well you could say that it is a special donation for the Nighthawks although I would prefer that this goes to the Red Gloves" the stranger answered with a light laugh but what he had said had frozen the caretaker.
The stranger only peeked into the church for a moment, he grabbed his hand and placed the letter in it, thanks to the light of the lamp inside the church he was finally able to see the inside of the man's hood.....
He had a mask on his face whose eyes and mouth seemed to be in an eternal scream.
"Have a good night sir" said the stranger with a bow and he left the entrance of the church and when he stepped onto the street the shadows enveloped him and disappeared, all this in front of the terrified caretaker's sight.
"HELP HELP" who the only thing he could do was scream trying to call the rest of the caretakers.....

Ikanser was currently in his office reading various documents related to an explosion at a port in the East Borough.
'Why does it always have to be East Borough?' he thought tired as he raised his hand to his forehead.
According to the document where the explosion happened was in the basement of an abandoned fishing house in the area, the explosion was not the worst of what had been found.
A huge amount of body parts, they couldn't recover all the bodies because they were destroyed by the explosion but according to the meat puzzle and some calculations there should be at least 50.
The icing on the cake was that traces of an evil ritual were found but that was it, just like the bodies any trace of the ritual was destroyed by the explosion.
Before he could continue thinking about how to continue a loud bang was heard from the lower floor that made Ikanser get up from his chair.
'What the fuck?' Quickly leaving his office he was in a room that had equally surprised members, some even drawing their weapons.
"Captain Ikanser!" Skiper stormed into the room and Ikanser looked at the alarmed man.
"What was that Skiper? Are we being attacked?" Ikanser asked quickly as he approached the man who shook his head.
"We're not sure but you have to come see this Captain" Ikanser just nodded and turning to the other members he spoke.
"Corporal, Eco, Bera go and bring 2-78 and 2-50 if Bretania asks tell her that these are my orders, the rest with me" with the orders given everyone moved and went down to the ground floor.
The ground floor seemed to be a bar although due to the hour it should be quite full but it seemed that many customers had run out of the place after what happened.
He saw how the main door had a big hole in the middle and there was also a container with some traces of fire in the middle of the floor.
"Skiper no one saw what happened" Ikanser asked as he slowly approached the door.
"No sir" replied the man.
Reaching the hole in the door and slightly poking his head Ikanser immediately saw something on the ceiling in front of the bar.
Being illuminated on his back by the red moon and with what seemed to be a Bow of fire in his hands was a man dressed in a short black windbreaker and with a mask on his face.
This man upon seeing Ikanser undid the Bow of fire and also bowed before the man and then he was wrapped in shadows and disappeared.....
.....
Now that same man was standing in a building not far from a Storm Lord church and he was holding another container in his hands and he was looking at this container with some sadness.
'I would have preferred to do it to the Holy Wind Cathedral but I'm afraid that when I do it a divine thunderclap will fall on me so I can only settle for this' the man thought with false sadness but after that he threw the container with all his might, it traveled through the air with speed and smashed through one of the large stained glass windows of the church.
Following that he was wrapped in shadows and disappeared from his place...
