Chapter 138 Surprise 2

We waited for Dad to step into the mansion trying to act all natural so mum does not suspect a thing. Stepping into the mansion, the house keeper and Joan went in to welcome him in. "Welcome back Dad!" I said giving him a hug. "How are you guys!" It took me some seconds to understand what he meant.

"We're fine!" "I tried finding your mother, I'm so sorry I couldn't!" He held my shoulder feeling disappointed. "That's not a problem, I've got a surprise for you Dad!" I gestured my hands to the couch to see the shocked expression on mum's face, Dad's face wasn't left out.

I smiled, staring at Falcon and he returned the smile. This was beautiful, mum and Dad's reunion was beautiful. We gave them space as we left the mansion.

"When are you getting a divorce?" Falcon said as we walked into the garden. "I... don't know". I was surprised at his questions. Why would he suddenly ask of something so sensitive? "You should.... Do that fast so you can stop leaving in the past". He said calmly picking a flower from the many rose flowers.

"I'll do that, but at my time maybe when I'm ready". We got further into the garden staring at the flowers.

.

"No no no no no...!" Berverly said seeing the figure sitted in the car. She couldn't believe it, how did he get here? She turned back and started running through the woods again. She had to get out here, she rather dies than spend a second in that place.

The men with Xavier didn't waste a second following her into the woods. They wanted her alive else they would have shot her by now.

She had no idea what Xavier wanted from her, they had a deal and she gave herself to him, what more does he want? Her feet were swollen as they hurt her so much, but she still ran cause her life depended on it, turning back each time to know check the people chasing her.

If that sick man is to catch her again tonight, then her punishment would be ten times tougher or he might end up killing her.

She ran till her legs got numb that she didn't realize she was bleeding. Berverly felt weak as she gasped for air, holding a branch of tree. She needed to hide, hide away from everyone and everything.

She ran between two branches of tree which had some shielded branches to the ground as she held loud footsteps running forward. This place was safe for her for now, cause this people are never going to leave her alone. She was fed up with this life, all she wanted was to kill Hazel and live happily, but who would believe that was never going to happen?

Who would believe she would end up in the hands of this man? She sobbed silently beneath the tree. It's her mother's fault she was in this condition, maybe if she had helped her to change instead of engineering her to fight Hazel more. She would have been at home, but now she's here in the woods hiding from the people about to kill her.

She folded her legs to see the huge cut on her legs. She was bleeding badly and didn't know how to stop the bleeding.

When everywhere turned quiet, Beverly got out of her hideout, she darted her gaze around before dragging herself back to the road.

.

Falcon placed the flowers on my hair arranging it himself, "thought you said you'd cut the hair?" I met his gaze smiling. "Don't put such in my mind so on my frustrated days that'll not be the first thing I'd be doing!" "I don't mind, you look beautiful no matter what you look like!".

"Besides on your frustrated days, I wish to be close to you so you can vent all of your anger on me!" He smiled. "No you don't want that, I'm even scared of myself when I'm angry!" I smiled as we sat on the table in the garden. Joan knew what to do and she quickly brought in fruit drinks and sliced fruits.

It would be nice to just watch falcon eat all of it alone cause I barely get to eat any of these food lately since I puke everything out. "My Dad arranged for a family meeting with yours today are you aware?" "Really? What do you think it's for?"

He shrugged his shoulders, "I have no idea!"

.

"We've had enough fun away from everyone, it's time to go back. I want to see Hazel, I need to talk to my baby!" Carie sat on his back trying to wake the man up from his sleep. It's been like two months since she recovered and Lukas took her on these vacation.

She has been told by him after countless arguments that Hazel was no longer with Alex. Though Carie was their number one fan, she was in support of their separation these time. She witnessed the countless cries and pain her best friend went through because of Alex. And she finally decided it's best if they're both not together anymore.

"We'd go, I just want to be sure you're okay before we leave!" "I'm fine already, I can take good care of myself!" She kissed and bit his ear lobe igniting something in him. Something that wanted. She just knew how to get this man whenever she wanted.

Lukas was happy his Carie was back, getting her pregnant before was a mistake and this time he didn't want it to be a mistake anymore. He actually wanted a child with her but he wanted to give her some space to rest from her last accident.

The force which she fell with at their engagement party affected her womb a little, making it a little bit difficult for her to conceive again. But Lukas was okay with that, all he thought about now is their wedding, he couldn't wait to make Carie his wife. He loved her and that was all that mattered.

"Fine you can go!" He finally agreed which had Carie hugging and giving him multiple kisses. She loves her baby and would miss him once she leaves, but for now, she desperately wanted to see Hazel. She wanted to talk to her bestie and know she's okay.

.

"She's still very upset with me, and doesn't want to come back home!" Alex let out a sigh staring at the glass filled with drink before him. He's lost his appetite for food before, now he's lost his appetite for drinks too. Everything felt so meaningless and the things he loved to do before were now boring to him.

The only thing that mattered now, was seeing Hazel again, making her his again. He wanted her to say she loved him again, even if the last time she said it he was harsh on her. "You think she'd be back after everything you did to her?"

"I was hoping." He pushed the liquid forward.

"What will you do now?" Oliver asked staring at his lost son. "Find a way to get my wife back, I can't possible leave her, not when she's carrying my child!" Oliver's eyes glittered.

They've suffered great loss from Carie, hearing Hazel was pregnancy made his day and would even make Maria extremely happy. "She's pregnant?" Alex said nothing else to his father. He was not interested in talking to anyone, if they couldn't here his message once, they can forget about it.

One thing he didn't know how to tell them, was Hazel was now a Huxley. A Huxley was carrying their grandchild whether they like it or not. The news will definitely stir up some drama in his family but he didn't care. They were not the ones getting married to his wife, neither were they the owner of his child.
