Chapter 191 A Party 2

  "Hazel you're here!" Mother called for me to smile at her, she was the least person I wanted to see right now. I was not in my right mind to answer questions.

"Mother!" I hugged her. "Are you alright Love?" She held my face. "I'm fine, you look so beautiful yourself!" "Why do you have dark circles and why are you back this early?" She ignored my complement as her thumb brushed my eyes slightly.

"Alex said he had something important to do so we had to come back!" "And you cried the whole night cause your honeymoon was cut short?" Her face was expressionless for the first time in a long time. 'Not just the whole night, I cried all day'. I thought.

"Did he do anything to hurt you?" Why was mother asking all this questions? 

"No mother, we're fine!" She finally smiled as she arranged my hair.

"You should learn to understand your husband is a business man. I know you'd miss him sometimes, but he has alot to do for now!" "You wouldn't want your husband to see you like this. You look hideous!" She whispered to me.

"Hazel!" Grandma called for me to kiss her palm before hugging her. "Good morning grandma!"

"Hmm you smell so good!" She complimented. "You smell good yourself Grandma!"

"Why are you not on one of your wierd costumes (Alex's clothes)!" "She has issues with him. She's just being a jealous little wife!" Mother replied to her question with a chuckle.

"Why are you two fighting? And aren't you meant to be on your honeymoon?" "Alex had some work to do that's why we're back!" I said.

"Oh that explains your swollen dark eyes!" Grandma rubbed her thumb lightly on my eyes. She repeated the same thing mother did few minutes ago.....

"Carie's around, Mother and I have some errands to run. Leonard take Hazel in!" Mother said as they left the mansion. "That shouldn't be a problem mother, I can find my way around!" 

"Hazel!" "Carie!" I hugged my baby. "I leave you for a week and you get plumpy!" I smiled at her glares. "Lukas is fine with it!" She rolled her eyes. "He should be, you look good with the baby bumps!" "You think?" I nodded for her to smile.

"Pregnant women usually have some effects during pregnancy!" She stared at me wierdly. "You know the nose enlargement or the big size foot!" "Eww no, I can't have those!"

"I was just saying!" "Anyways, why are you back, didn't Alex like the place we picked?" 

"He did, he liked it very much!" We walked through the stairs and got into her room. "So why are you back?" "Alex had some work to do a......!" "Don't even think of lying to me Zel!" She sat on her bed and I followed suit.

"He sent me back last night, cause I told him about my feelings for him!" "What?

"Yes, he said he is inlove with someone else!" "What?" "Carie I regretted telling him about my feelings for him. Thing has gotten from bad to worst Carie!" I sniffed the air.

"C... Could that someone else be Berverly?" I nodded at her question. "She leaves with us now, in the disguise of being depressed!" "What?" 

"Alex let her stay in your mansion?" "He said it's not in my place to send anyone out. I'm fed up. I'm tired of crying. I got used, he used me!" I cleaned the tears that rolled down my eyes. 

"I'm so sorry Hazel, I... I should have never let you get close to him!"

"It's not your fault, I was stupid. I've made a mistake that I'll regret for the rest of my life. That's part of life isn't it!" "Hazel you can't give up.......!"

"I'm not fighting for Alex, he's a grown ass man that knows what he wants.
