"Is there really electricity?"
That was the second thought to cross Jackson's mind after he blanked out. He cautiously walked over to the device. There was no screen on it, only a green light that glowed steadily.
Very rudimentary.
"Nvwa."
Jackson distanced himself before calling softly to his wristlet.
"Yes, Colonel Jackson."
"Hello." Jackson wasn't worried that his voice would interfere with Ji Xinghe's device. The Federation's artificial intelligence program, although a pseudo-AI, was secure and reliable. It had given the Federation a significant advantage in this war.
"So..." Jackson cautiously asked, "What does thirty-six volts mean?"
"It's a measure of electrical voltage."
"I know that volts measure voltage. I would like to know the significance of thirty-six volts, erm, its harm to the human body."
