Chapter 44 - Heat

Bright sunlight streamed in through the window, blindingly shining on a flushed face. Yunfeng rolled over, snuggling deep into the pillow. His mouth was slightly open as he panted.

"Mnn…" His own moan startled him awake.

Stunned, Yunfeng dazedly looked around. Huh? When did I fall asleep? He rolled over and picked up his phone that was carelessly tossed on the ground.

The screen lit up brightly, showing the time.

6:30? Agh… Groaning, he rolled back into bed. His dazed eyes stared at the ceiling unblinking.

Yesterday was an eventful day. He admitted his feelings for Muchen and then proceeded to jack off to his photo. The crushed tissue papers, soiled with his… ahem, seed, were more than enough proof that he had gone absolutely crazy.

Yunfeng groaned loudly. "Why am I like this?! Fuck, being an omega is tough!"

"No!" Yunfeng shot up. "Don't come."

"Why?" Jai's questioning tone pulled him out of his panicked state.

"I might be contagious, who knows? I don't want you to get sick. Plus, Mum's here. She already made me porridge. You don't have to drop by." He bit his lips softly, holding back a moan. His tender member rubbed against the underwear's rough material, creating a delicious friction. He fell weakly to his knees.

"Hmmm, you sound suspicious. Are you having a girl over or something?"

"No, who do you think I am? I'm a good citizen who follows social rules." He scoffed.

"Yeah, right, as if I would believe that." Jai chuckled softly. "Anyway, I found the property you were searching for. It's on the outskirts of the city, in a small village called Huiling. It's quite abandoned. Only old people live there now. My dad led the real estate project there, but it was a huge failure, leaving all the villas unsold. He said to give you one for free."

"No, no! I can pay. I'll pay in installments." Yunfeng cheerfully chuckled. "Thank God you found the house."

In three months, the world will be plagued by a deadly virus, and people will turn feral. Worse, the government will try to hide it by bombing all the cities. He needed to be far away from the havoc as much as possible.

But what about Muchen? He will never believe me. How can I take him with me… should I kidnap him? A small impulsive thought rose in his mind, but he shut it down immediately.

"Let's go and check the property out. How about next weekend?" Jai's voice brought him out of his thoughts.

"Yeah, sure… can you do me one favor? I want the property close to the house too. I want to join the two properties and store all the food I brought."

"Why did you buy so much anyway? Are you really serious about the world ending? My dad is sort of panicking, you know," Jai mumbled softly.

"I'm telling the truth. Tell Uncle to move far away from the city. In three months, we will face a major threat. At least be precautionary, even if you don't believe me." He anxiously gazed out the window. The peace would not last long. Soon, the roads would be filled with rabid people and the sounds of bomb blasts.
