Austin made his way through the men's dormitories, moving in slow, measured gait. An echo of his faint footsteps reverberated off the walls of the otherwise empty hallway. The cool, soft light of the moon gave his fiery red locks a deeper, richer hue as he walked with a grace and fluidity that he was oblivious to.

His striking gray eyes appeared intense and focused as he recapped every detail of the day he had in his mind. But his thoughts inevitably wandered to the beautiful elf who had captured his attention since he first laid eyes on her.

Something about her angry golden eyes, her small yet feisty features, and her seemingly fragile frame that could uproot a large tree in a show of strength, had captivated him completely. A small subconscious smile played at the corners of this mouth, before he furrowed in realization, fixing it immediately.
