Chapter 46: Bas Mo Chridhe

Phoenix’s POV.

“I told you I had a plan!” Freddy grabbed Adel by the shoulders. Fin roared for me to rush into action, but I was terrified of what Freddy would do if I moved.

But I didn’t have a chance to step into action because a flurry of blue fabric launched up from the floor, running full speed at Freddy, and Adel. Nora yelled a warning. Bursting forth I rushed toward my mate, and my heart seized in my chest. But Freddy was quicker. Having seen his mother who was playing us all pretending to be dead on the floor move toward my mate.

Freddy turned Adel just at the last minute as Fleur pulled a long dagger from the folds of her dress. Pulling it back with a snarl of hate roaring from her chest all I could do was stand frozen watching as the dagger plunged into the back of Freddy.
