“His mother,” Nix said bluntly. “Fleur Toussaint has broken the accord, and she and her b*stard son are on their way here, so as much as I would love to continue to talk in circles, we don’t have time.”
‘I’m so proud of you Nix,’ Adel whispered through our bond; her pride was evident in the feeling that blossomed in my chest, causing me to physically rub the spot where I could feel her the most. ‘That was probably the hottest thing I’ve ever heard from your lips other than—'
“Alpha…” A breathless Beta rushed into the room his eyes filled with fear… “They’re here.”
The room burst into quiet chaos as everyone scrambled for what they should do. For a room full of wolves, some more like all of them were older than me, a better part of them hadn’t seen a conflict.
‘What’s going on Nix.’ Adel grew concerned.
‘Fredrick and his mother have been sighted…’
