Idk if anyone has said this before author, but this webnovel could make for an amazing anime imo. Have the studios that did solo-leveling and the 86 anime team up and it would make for one helluva cool sci-fi fantasy fusion series.
The contract he signed means that WN has all of the rights to the novel. In order to produce a manhua or donghua, it’s entirely up to webnovel. Having a manhua isn’t all it’s cracked up to be either. If you look at the comics side of WN, all you’ll find there are abandoned manhua. Mostly because WN prices them out of the range that most people can pay, like 23-25 coins for one chapter of manhua that’s probably 8-9 frames at best. As for donghua (Chinese anime), that’s primarily reserved for the megahits from the Chinese side of WN. I don’t think I’ve heard of a single indie author that publishes with them getting a donghua.
GrandSageTrev:I think usually they come to you, but that's not too common on webnovel I think. Nobody says you can't go to them and ask. Might be a next step after like a manhwa first to get it more popular or something though, but who knows maybe you can skip steps.
