FAREWELL

It was weird, but at the same time, it did make sense when the white light that appeared in her palms actually scattered into hundreds of light quanta until it almost looked like specks of dust under the sunlight. It was beautiful and dazzling. Each speck of light went to each spirit, consumed them before the spirits finally disappeared from Iris' sight one by one.

The sight of it was so devastating, Iris couldn't describe it in words and because she was the only one who could see them, it was even more heartbreaking for her. As the living warriors and even Cane, couldn't see them for one last time.

Cane had never said it, nor had he ever shown it, but he cared so much about and loved his people dearly. He was rather lenient with them.
