Winter Kingdom

Sirius planned for the next four years to form the structure of their future army to guarantee their survival and future conquests. First, he decided to set the army's hierarchy with a mix of his past life structures. The Army will form units of 100 soldiers called Centuries led by Centurions, every 10 Centuries form a Legion led by a Legionary. Every 20 Legions form an Army led by a General. The initial plan is to have five standing armies by the end of their four-year plan or at least the basic structure of these armies. As of now, Memphis has the structure of two Armies, The Silent Army, The Unsullied Army. These were mostly prepared except the Unsullied need more training for the trainees. This makes two standing armies of 20,000 each.

The Silent Army a Heavy Cavalry Army that will be totally invincible in a few years with a program of training that Sirius prepared to make them used to cavalry charging formations that will make them utilize being a charging mass of steel to crush their enemies. They also will have new Percheron Horses that will support their steel full body armor and their heavy lances. The Percherons will be fitted with Steel Scale Armor on their face, neck, and legs as to not restrict their flexibility, as well as plate armor for their front and their back to provide protection for the horses.

The only way to deal with armored cavalry is basically killing their horses and dismounting them to fight equally, if their horses are also armored then you can only run. The Unsullied have no upgrades possible except for more training to refine their phalanx formation as they are a semi-Heavy Infantry Phalanx Army with deadly formation to deal with armies many times their numbers. The Unsullied Flag is an image of their grey Helm. While the Silent Army had their Lance as their flag.

The next step is the Mamluk Army, which will be a Light Cavalry Army, excelling in Guerilla Warfare and hit and run tactics, they will also be great for ambushes as they will be mounting the Arabian horses, which has the greatest speed, stamina, and endurance so they will march many times faster than any other army can. They will wear Light Armor mostly chainmail with just a tunic of thin plate armor to protect their torso and an Arabian Turban Helm to protect their head and neck. They will be the most versatile army as they can be a Shock Troop to attack many vulnerable areas and infiltrate enemy lands.

They will be equipped with round shields and scimitars, similar to the Dothraki Arakh, and a recurve bow with multiple quivers for different modes of actions, like armor- piercing anti-plate armor arrows, and manticore poison-laced arrows. They will have different modes of attack either by individually sniping scattered enemies or firing collectively in volleys on gathered enemies. The Mamluk Army will have the same military structure and will be 20,000 men strong, Their flag will have the crescent shape of their scimitars on it.

The next Army will be the Garrison Army, which will basically be the defensive army in any war that they fight. They will be elite archers using heavy crossbows with bodkin bolts to penetrate any armor. New Towers will be designed to give them higher vantage points as well as secret compartments to shoot from. They will also have chainmail armor to protect them while also giving them enough flexibility. They will be the bane of any sieging army, and might also have some uses in open field battles as they could greatly mitigate a running army with their 450 m range.

The final army is to be an Auxillary Army of different Legions gathered together in one miscellaneous army that will have to be added later after these four armies are fully functional, as they need many requirements that will only be fulfilled later.

Sirius left the Council Room and headed to the Royal Chambers to see his mother as he neglected her deeply lately. He found his mom playing with his twin younger siblings, Serenay and Seth, who were born the last year just before they conquered Meereen. They were both little beautiful copies of Sirius and he planned to have them as the betas of his pack. A servant rushed telling Sirius he was summoned to the Great Hall to attend an urgent matter.

He found his father on his throne along with General Meng, Meng Tian, and Alaric. Alaric heard whispers that Myr was gradually boiling in anger the more the Memphisi expanded their glass business as they hurt Myr in its foundation, so although Myr is busy fighting Tyrosh and Lys over the Disputed Lands, they forged an alliance with Yunkai and provided them with wealth and connections to hire many sellsword companies to gather an army and destroy Memphis to plunder its superior glassmaking technology.

Sirius rejoiced as this would make things much easier politically. Sirius drowned himself in paper works and diplomatic negotiations with the Free Cities to convince them of his claim on Memphis. First, he had to quell any rumors that they were contracted by Meereen, as that is a major taboo for a Free Company to betray their employer and sack his city. He had to bribe the Braavosi by placing a couple of million golds into their Iron Bank as a deposit. He had to write letters in his father's name to form diplomatic relations with Volantis through melting the ice and making good with his Grandfather Prince Aryos Clagos. He had to promise to sell his Spirits and Glass through them only in Volantis.

The Distillery was the best business of the year in Memphis. They branded Whiskey and Vodka as Golden Spirits and White Spirits respectively and dubbed them "Spirits in Crystal". This slogan promotes both the heavenly taste of the liquor as if they are of pure spiritual nature and also the quality of the glass by describing it as clear as crystal, a jab to Myrish glass which is cloudy. The liquor business was lucrative and it basically supported the whole treasury of Memphis for now, as well as selling glassware.

By 280 AC, Sirius's efforts bore through as he built healthy diplomatic relations with all Essos except Myr, he even started trading with the Summer Islands and set up trade routes in the Red Waste using camels to trade with Qarth and through it to Yi Ti and Leng. He also started his plans of rebuilding the Slaver's Bay, renamed Bay of Wolves after he conquered Yunkai and the almost empty Astapor.

The Battle of Broken Swords, as they named it, was the first war that brought real attention from all over Essos and Westeros about the rising power of Memphis. Yunkai with the help of Myr gathered an army of 30,000, most of which were a mix of many sellswords and mercenaries who had no real formation or unity. They marched from Yunkai to Memphis in late 279. Meng Tian and Sirius devised a strategy of sending the 10,000 Unsullied by ships to conquer the now empty cities of Astapor and Yunkai. The Silent Army of 20,000 Heavy Cavalries disappeared into the mountains east of Memphis.

The budding Garrison Army of 10,000 awaited the Myrish-Yunkai'i Army atop the newly built high-round Towers of Memphis. Those were Stone Towers built on the two sides of the new giant stone Gatehouses with a steel Portcullis to seal it completely. This made the allied mercenary army helpless in conquering the city while enduring the vicious poisoned bodkin bolts of the Garrison Army, as they reaped lives on the slightest scratch and penetrated most armors. After a day of sieging the city, the Silent Army night raided their camp and slaughtered most of them. They were helpless against fully armored Knights with charging formations and long steel lances.

Half of their army fled in defeat to Yunkai, but they were repeatedly harassed and ambushed by sudden Cavalry charges which reaped lives, without enabling them to fight back. By the time, they reached Yunkai they were caught between the hammer and the anvil. They found Legions of Unsullied formations from the front and Silent Cavalries charging behind them. It was said that no one left that battle alive. The Free Companies across Essos banned any contracts against Memphis as a result and Myr went completely silent since the battle.

Memphis cemented its power as a major player in the middle southern part of Essos and rebuilt Yunkai into Lykopolis, Astapor into Heliopolis. They named it the Bay of Wolves. In Westeros, the Master of Whispers Varys tried to infiltrate the Bay of Wolves, especially after hearing of the namesake of the Northern Great House being mentioned a lot, he felt a terrible threat coming from it, yet he was helplessly serving a mad King who started burning everyone left and right. The realm was in turmoil and he had no time to pay attention to that bay across the Narrow Sea.

By 281 AC, Tywin Lannister resigns as Hand of the King in angry protest and returns to Casterly Rock. Prince Rhaegar distinguishes himself in a great tourney at Harrenhal, but he names Lyanna Stark of Winterfell, who is betrothed to Lord Robert Baratheon, as the queen of love and beauty rather than his own wife, Elia Martell.

Sirius Stark and Meng Tian lead a combined army of 20,000 Unsullied and 20,000 Garrison Crossbowmen as well as 10,000 Mamluk Infantry, who are still waiting for their Arabian Horses to be bred extensively in the husbandries, to launch an attack with the full strength of the Bay of Wolves on the Island of New Ghis as it represented the last trace of Old Ghis empire and thus destabilized the Stark's claim over the bay and its three cities. New Ghis has been harassing the ships going into the valley recently so they had to be put in place.

282 AC, Rhaegar Targaryen abducts Lyanna Stark. Lyanna's brother, Brandon, and father, Lord Rickard Stark, demand that Aerys discipline his son, but instead the Mad King kills them both. Aerys demands the heads of Lords Robert Baratheon and Eddard Stark from their guardian, Jon Arryn. Instead, Houses Arryn, Stark, and Baratheon raise their banners in open rebellion, signifying the start of the war, which is also known as the War of the Usurper, which will last close to a year. Lord Hoster Tully agrees to join the rebellion as well. The Tyrells remain loyal to the king and besiege Robert's castle of Storm's End, held by his brother Stannis. The new Hand of the King, Lord Jon Connington, is defeated in the Battle of the Bells and is sent into exile in the Free Cities.

In Essos, The newly build city and port of Alexandria becomes a center of trade in the Summer Sea. It gathered products coming from Asshai, Leng, Yi Ti, and Qarth in the east as well as western products from Westeros, Lys, Tyrosh, and the Summer Isles. Heliopolis and Lykopolis were closed off to the public and merchants and turned into military grounds. Heliopolis was turned into a naval city with shipbuilders gathered from all over the world building a brand new navy of ships called Carracks made of Ironwood imported from House Glover through a port built on the shores near Deepwood Motte. While Lykopolis becomes a military barracks that has soldiers training day and night as well as vast stables containing horses of different kinds and even some animals.

By 283 AC, The rebel army defeats the royalists at the Battle of the Trident, where Prince Rhaegar is killed. The Lannisters apparently march to the aid of King Aerys but instead turn against him with the Sacking of King's Landing. Aerys is killed by Ser Jaime Lannister, one of his Kingsguard, to prevent the wildfire plot. Princess Elia Martell and her children, Princess Rhaenys and Prince Aegon, are murdered by Lannister bannermen, Ser Gregor Clegane, and Ser Amory Lorch. Robert's approval of their deaths leads to a rift with Eddard. In the following combat at the tower of joy with three Kingsguard, Lord Stark finds Lyanna dying. Robert, who can trace his descent back to King Aegon V Targaryen, is crowned Lord of the Seven Kingdoms, and he weds Tywin's daughter, Cersei Lannister. With the war at an end, Eddard returns home to Winterfell with his bastard son, Jon Snow.
