Inside the room where the mysterious old man was residing. He still sat on his chair while bidding against the little girl.

And his face had never changed from the indifference it had on before the bidding. And still continued to show it while spending almost 100 million dollars on an item.

The reason was that he felt that the diamond had some type of energy inside of it. And that said energy calmed him down the second he had his eyes on it.

The old man has always had trouble with anger issues and couldn't control them even if he tried his hardest. And with said anger issues, he would kill people that annoyed him even a little without batting an eye.

So the price wasn't something he cared much about as long as he could get his hands on the diamond.

As for why he hadn't been caught by the police is because half of the cops are on his payroll who help destroy all evidence on him.

Now when the other person had bid against him, he regained some of his anger and was about to tell his people to "take care of them". But he stopped when he noticed that the other person stopped bidding, making him the winner.

Now a smile had appeared on the face of the old fossil. Which made the guards standing from behind somewhat scared, since when he smiled only destruction followed.

But the smile on his face was the one of a happy person.

" You'll be coming with me now, my little diamond." He said with a hoarse voice while observing the diamond on the stage.

Inside the VIP room, Robin was sitting with a calm face while asking the maid a few general questions.

" Do you know who the two people in the other VIP rooms are?" He asked

"Yes sir, the one on our left is Sakamoto Josuke. He's part of a large yakuza gang that has been active around New York for a while now. While the room on the left is occupied... I mean was occupied by a little girl named Mandy Blanca. She's the daughter of a businessman that has a net worth of billions of dollars." She answered while looking back at Robin.

" I see." When Robin finished hearing the information, he only went back to staring through the glass as if he wasn't bothered. But the truth was that Robin was freaking out right now. Since his own net worth was about to become almost a hundred million dollars.

For a person who only lived in a lower-middle-class household, earning such a high number was simply just impossible. But here he was, about to become a millionaire.

" Thank you all for participating in this exciting yet refreshing auction, I hope that all of you were able to get what you were looking for. And a big congratulation to the person in the VIP section for winning the red diamond." The woman on stage ended the auction with her speech.

Soon after the people in the crowds started to get out of their seats while having small talk with the others near them, saying hateful things in secret about the old man in the VIP room because of their jealousy.

Of course, this wasn't something they were able to say in front of his face since he would rip them apart piece by piece. His bad reputation wasn't something people could easily forget.

And Robin who was also about to leave and search for another worker got stopped by the maid inside of the room.

" Please sir, just wait a few minutes. I have been informed that an executive officer will be arriving shortly here to give you the money." She said while bowing down to him.

" Alright, alright. No need to bow." He whispered the last part.

Soon after a few minutes, a knock could be heard on the door before someone opened it.

A man dressed in a suit came inside while holding a black case in his hand. Behind him was also Key, the person Robin had gotten acquainted with before.

" Mr. Spade. It's nice to finally meet you, my name is Richard and I'm the XO of the auction house. Behind me is Key, the person who helped you before." Richard came up to Robin before then reaching out his hand.

" It's nice to meet you too Mr. Richard. Please take a seat." Robin said before accepting the handshake while looking at Key and nodding toward him. With the latter did the same thing.

As the group sat down with the maid standing on the sidelines. The conversation started.

" Let's get straight to the point, in the suitcase we have the money from the auction minus the fee. It all came up to 87,3 million dollars." Richard said before then opening the case.

The only thing inside of it was a bank card along with a note where a password is written on it.

Since it was impossible to put all of the money inside the suitcase, they had to instead send it to a bank card with no limit. They had also registered the card as Robin's, making him the sole owner of the money.

Robin then picked up the card and the paper before then putting them both inside a small case that he had prepared.

The three then stood up before greeting each other yet again.

" It was a pleasure doing business with you Mr. Spade. I hope you come to our humble auction house if you either want to buy or sell anything, our doors are open to you 24/7." Richard said

" I feel the same way, and don't worry. If I find any other treasures, then I'll make sure to come here."

" We have also prepared a chauffeur for you since the probability of getting robbed in this city is pretty high," Key said while chuckling at his joke.

Letting out a laugh of his own he then thanked the two before then heading outside, where the chauffeur waited for him.
