Chapter 109 - Investigation of Power

"I believe he is a great nen user, most likely stronger than both of us combined."

Akira did not want to agree with Kyo, as she does not like to be seen as weak, but she knows in her mind that, against a person who could take out more than thirteen nen users like this and vanish after that, she and Kyo had no chance.

"So, what are we going to do?"

Akira asked, looking at Kyo's face with some sort of expectation.

At that time, the phone rang before he had a chance to answer Kyo.

He listens to the voice, and his face changes drastically in just seconds.

"Oh"

He says that and ends the phone call as he starts to speak.

"This airship was carrying a nen relic, a nen item from the ancients called Hammer of Judge."

Kyo and Akira were sitting in their living room, discussing the recent events that had taken place on the airship.

Kyo started the conversation by saying, "Did you hear about the Hammer of Judgement?" It's an ancient Neanderthal relic that supposedly increases production in a certain area by over 40%."

Akira nodded and said, "Yeah, I've heard of it. I wonder if it's true. It sounds like a powerful item."

Kyo replied, "It definitely is. But there's a catch. The last known owner of the Hammer of Judge, King Eledar, used it to grow his kingdom, but his kingdom was eventually destroyed for unknown reasons."

Akira raised an eyebrow and asked, "Destroyed? That's a bit suspicious. Do you think it was because of the hammer?"

Kyo shrugged. "It's hard to say. But if the hammer does work as claimed, it could be a powerful tool for whoever possesses it. It's no wonder the Skull Kings were after it."

Akira nodded and said, "Yeah, but Axel was able to take them down. I wonder what he did with the hammer."

Kyo leaned back in his chair and said, "Who knows? But it's not our concern. Our job is to keep the peace and protect innocent people from any harm caused by these dangerous nen users."

Akira nodded in agreement and said, "Right. We'll leave the nen relics to the hunters and focus on our duties as police officers."

At that time, Axel continued to walk towards the site where he was going to meet with Navi.

Axel looked at the map on his phone and studied it carefully. He estimated that it would take him approximately six hours of walking to reach the site where he was supposed to meet Navi. He felt a sense of relief that he would not have to take another airship and deal with potential threats from unknown NEN users. As he put away his phone, he took a deep breath and closed his eyes, using his meditation techniques to focus on his nen and calm his mind and body.

Walking was always good exercise for Axel, not just physically but also mentally. He found it to be an excellent opportunity to practice his ninja abilities and improve his concentration. As he started to walk towards his destination, he began to feel more relaxed and in control of his thoughts.

Axel had always believed that walking and meditation were closely related. Just as walking allowed him to clear his mind and focus on the present, meditation helped him stay centered and focused on his goals.
