#Chapter8
Tears
I opened my eyes and I blinked in the sudden brightness. I tried to get up but the sharp pain in my arm and neck forced me to fall back onto the soft bed I was lying on. I noticed that the side of my neck and right arm were bandaged and recalled the incident that had occurred with Dominic Black and let out a frustrated sigh.
How did I always manage to get myself stuck in the worst possible situations?
I sank further into the comfortable bed.
Wait, a bed?
I finally took in my surroundings. I was in a beautiful room with cream colored walls and peach drapes that were opened and allowing sunlight to flood in. The walls had framed pictures of beautiful landscapes hanging on them and on the side table sat a single black and white lamp. I tried to get up again, slowly this time and after a few winces and groans I finally succeeded.
/"Well you're definitely not a morning person./" I heard an unfamiliar voice say.
