Austin's Honesty

"Austin ...."

Austin stared at his uncle with a calm face as the man spoke. His eyes continued to watch as the owner and headmaster took off his glasses before looking at him again with a tired face.

"I know the recent circumstances may have frustrated you. I'm trying to understand your position, that's why I keep trying to close my eyes and ears when you start to change and cause a lot of trouble in this school. However, I will never condone bullying, Austin. Yesterday you made a mess in the cafeteria by bullying your classmates. And today, why did you have to break Della's locker?"

"I didn't do it."

In answer to his uncle's long-winded remark, Austin replied accordingly. His uncle's brow immediately furrowed when he heard Austin's emphatic answer. The man asked for his nose wearily before he emphasized his words again.
