At the same time Nero and Kuroka fall in the river and then start to move around to find themselves.
"This scenery is breathtaking. I remember when I was young, I came here with to make my name famous in a journey and was taught so much about the beauty of China. The journey in search of true freedom really was amazing." A monkey youkai say.
"Hey, these two young guys wandering aimlessly look lost. Do you think they need our help?" A dragonoid figure speak.
"Perhaps we can guide them on their journey. These two kids really seem to be in need of help." A humanoid figure speak as he reflects to himself about something else.
"Helping them would be a noble act that someone should do. Someone, right?" The monkey speaks with a lazy voice.
"Yeah, someone should do it. But can we at least have a little fun with them before we help them? Play hide and seek or maybe scare them a little bit." The dragon speak with a playful tone.
"I think it would be better if we were direct and honest with them. Showing compassion and kindness is key to helping them find their way." The humanoid keep speaking with a relaxed voice.
After discussing who will talk to the two lost young men, the three of them decide to play a quick game to determine who will go there. The person chosen will go there and approach in the way he see fit.
"Alright, guys, let's decide who goes to talk to those lost young men with a quick game. We'll play "0 or 1". You just say either "0" or "1". If two of us say the same number and the third says the opposite, the person who said the opposite number is chosen. Who gets chosen twice first will be the chosen one." The dragon explains.
"Sounds good to me. Let's get started. But I warn you guys, I'm pretty good at any kind of game." The monkey brags.
"I'm in." The humanoid talks while yawning.
"Alright, lets start." The dragon speaks
"0" Dragon
"0" Monkey
"0" Human
"Looks like we have a tie between '0'. Let's go again." The dragon start the second round.
"1" Dragon
"0" Monkey
"1" Human
"The old man won this round. One more to be selected." The dragon reminds everyone.
"0" Dragon
"1" Monkey
"1" Human
"Damn" The monkey curses after he hear the results.
"This round was on me. Lets go to the next one." The dragon sigh.
"0" Dragon
"1" Monkey
"0" Human
"Our monkey king wins again!" Dragon announces in a mocking voice.
"Ha! I told you guys I'm the best at games." The monkey, better known as Monkey King Sun Wukong brags again.
"Wukong, it looks like you are going to talk with that young duo." The human smiles.
"Wait, what are you talking about?" Wukong
"Did you really forgot about the rules and just played to win?" The dragon is incredulous, but at the same time he expected something like this.
"Did you think that having the name chosen meant you were winning?" The humanoid smiles at his friend mistake.
"You clearly said that whoever chose the different number would be the chosen one. Obviously the chosen one should win an award not a punishment."
"Haha, looks like fate has chosen you, Old Man! I hope those young people will have the patience to listen to your endless talking." The dragon start to laugh at his old friend ugly face and tease again. "Don't worry, we'll be cheering you on from the sidelines"
"Well, I guess we'll have to leave it to you, my friend. Please don't see this as a punishment, helping lost people is a good deed and the more good deeds you do the more luck you will accumulate for your future." The humanoid talk with a smile.
The monkey king withdrew from the group while uttering some curses in a low voice and walked over to the two youths with a playful smile.
After Sun Wukong withdrew, the dragon turned towards the humanoid.
"Were you using your future sight to get the correct results?"
"I thought this was obvious." The human responded nonchalantly.
"Only that idiot still fall in your tricks. Do you think that old man will cause any trouble by himself?" The dragon asks.
"Wukong has learned many lessons throughout his journeys. I trust he will act wisely." The humanoid responds.
They spend some time watching the interaction between the two young people and Sun Wukong from a distance. Until they hear the voice of the monkey king.
"You two should come here and talk to these kids. Since when did you guys become so shy?"
They hear the monkey king's mocking tone and move themselves to make their presence obvious as they approach the area, one of them is a humanoid and the other one is a huge dragon.
The two strangers approach and it is possible to see the appearance of both.
The humanoid takes the form of a tall, muscular man in a tank top with glasses along with robes tied around his waist wrapping back to his hands. He wears a bindi on his forehead, and has his light green hair, black on the sides, tied backwards in a classical/old-fashioned way with what seems to be a golden type of crown. He also dons earrings, a pair of rectangular glasses, and has elongated earlobes. He has sharp canines and is seen most of the time sucking a lollipop. The tank top he wears is accompanied an eyepatch-wearing rabbit design. His eyes are usually completely black without pupils, but occasionally, a lily appears in each eye.
The dragonic being has the appearance of a large green asian dragon. It has red eyes, and a lime, scaly underbelly, while the rest of it was shrouded in jade. Near its arms, where his body laid, were bronze curving shards.
"Kids, those two are, one of the five dragon kings, Yu-Long and, one of the dharmic gods from hinduism, Buddha. My old friends, you may have already heard everything from my conversation, but these children are the devil Nero Lucifer and the reincarnated devil who was a former pure nekoshou, Kuroka." Sun Wukong introduces the two to Nero and Kuroka in a playful voice.
"How... you shouldn't be here." Buddha exclamed in shock after he see the young devil boy with black hair and blue eyes.
"Indeed lord Buddha, I shouldn't be here we came here because of a mistake in my colleague's magic." Nero explains.
"Looks exactly like that man." The hinduist mutter in shock, but quickly speaks with a strained smile. "Pleasure to meet you little devil and nekoshou. I'm Buddha, once know as Siddhartha Gautama in my human life."
"It is a honor to meet you, lord Buddha." Nero and Kuroka with respect.
"Lord Buddha, who were you talking about before?" Nero immediatly question him with curiosity after the formal greting.
"Just call me Buddha, I dont see any reason to keep so much formalities. As for the man, well its just ... your grandfather Rizevim." The indian god states.
Nero stay silent reflecting on the lie he just heard, after all he looks nothing like his grandfather in physical appearance. He inherited his mother's black hair color and blue eyes, nothing like the son of the original Lucifer who has dark silver hair and hazel eyes. So who was Buddha thinking of?
"Yo kids, I'm Yu-Long, the Jade Dragon or simply The Liveliest Dragon." Yu-Long speak with a playful tone interrupting the boy's introspection.
"Self proclamed liveliest. My dear partner, I think the tittle of Mischievous Dragon suits you better than Jade Dragon." Sun Wukong mocks him.
"Shut up Wukong, dont embarass me in front of kids."
"I am only telling the thruth if you are embarassed then it is your own problem."
The monkey yokai and the dragon king keep discussing like kids while Nero and Kuroka just stare at the scene in shock.
The argument between Su Wukong and Yu-Long heats up and both begin a friendly fight to decide the winner of the previous discussion.
"It is pretty normal to see these two idiots fighting. Let's go to another place and talk in private." Buddha invites the two of them to go into a private area.
"Alright." Nero confirms
Nero follows Buddha to a more secluded region to continue the dialogue.
Kuroka on the other hand, didnt bother to answer she was focused in the friendly spar between two legendary beings in the youkai world. She watched a magnificent combat between one of the five dragon kings and the legendary monkey king who was able to create clones, transform into 72 forms and even coat his legendary staff weapon in touki.
