Destruction (2)

After waiting outside the courtyard for half an hour, more than a dozen people who could not stand the heat jumped out of the window one after another. What awaited them was the warm hospitality of the people outside.

The fire gradually became bigger and bigger, and the whole building became a fireball and there were no survivors.

"Now clear all the walkers in the vicinity! Be careful, there may be other people hiding in any corner of this place."

"Yes, sir."

Seeing that everyone in the courtyard began to disperse to clear out the scattered walkers, Airon walked towards the dumpster where Rick and the others were.

Auge!

Before he could walk to the door and open it, the wagon was already open and people were waiting in front of the long dead one.

After greeting his friends one by one, Rick introduced them to the new people behind him.

Looking back in the fire, most were quickly recognized with the exception of a few.

Abraham's group of course, but this girl named Elen and her family didn't ring a bell, why Airon thought she was someone who didn't appear in the original story who was saved by Rick.

Airon was already used to it, his arrival has changed many things of destiny and many people. This is not a problem, so he decided that his new life represents a completely different story and warmly greeted everyone.

"Hey, Rick, long time no see!" Said Glenn who had approached a moment ago.

"Glenn! You look good."

Knowing Glenn didn't come here to say hello, Airon asked quietly, "What's wrong?"

Glenn looked hesitantly at the strangers behind Rick, and the two of them took a few steps away without any trouble.

"Looks like there are a lot of survivors in those containers, are we going to rescue them?"

Looking at Glenn with a slight smile, Airon said, "Have you made a decision yet Captain Glenn?"

"Good." Glenn smiled at being called captain and then said, "I know it's dangerous to take them to the base, but we belong on the side of the living, don't we? This is what we're supposed to do with them!"

"You have to start making decisions Glenn, we are strong and you must remember that, even if there are people with bad intentions in our group, they will be seen long before they commit some unforgivable crime."

Only then Glenn flashed a smile, nodded without further words and walked towards the backyard.

Looking at the Airon who had been gone for a few months, Rick and the few people around him looked at each other and felt that he seemed to have become more mature and experienced. What he experienced in Texas definitely changed him, so they were all pensive.

Elen, off to the side, kept looking at Airon. She was very curious about this man. If it wasn't an inappropriate time, she would have already approached him to say hello.

But Abraham and the others stood silently in the back, secretly watching. He could sense a dangerous aura about this man. Maybe others couldn't sense it, but Abraham could feel it clearly. It was a kind of Instinct that pierced him to the bone.

He finally believed Morgan's words, Airon is not an ordinary man, he is a predator who has hidden himself very well among people!

Everyone was happy, but they didn't notice Lori, who was behind the crowd, backed away with a complicated expression and stood in the corner thinking about what would happen next due to her reckless actions again.

She secretly glanced in the direction of the crowd and found that no one noticed her, but after some thought, she wanted to approach and try to talk.

But unbeknownst to her, a large rough hand covered her mouth from behind, and then Lori felt something cold on her neck, she didn't need to guess what it was to know it was a dagger pointed at her neck.

"Listen very well woman, don't you dare move!"

At the same time the hoarse male voice sounded, four men in military uniforms came out from behind Lori.

"These people got away!" Lori thought as she imagined that the people behind her belonged to the terminus, so she thought she couldn't let Rick and the others be in danger because of her, at least she has to remind them.

But at that moment, the man spoke again.

"If you do not talk, I will only take you hostage. If any accident happens to us, you'll be as dead as us, bitch! As long as you keep quiet, when we escape, you will be released naturally, understand?"

Seeing that the other party had shown his intentions, Lori could only nod cooperatively.

The man probably saw her sincerity and the strength in her hands relaxed a little.

Seizing this opportunity, Lori opened her mouth fiercely, and the man's fingers holding her mouth were bitten off by her teeth, but she didn't bite down to tear a finger off, her intentions were otherwise.

"Shit! You crazy fucking witch!"

"Shet! You crazy woman!"

The man in pain withdrew his hand unconsciously and was about to knock this woman out with a punch when he heard the woman in his arms suddenly scream!

"Help! Ahhhh!"

"Fuck!"

Auge!

Lori was knocked out by the punch, but it was no longer necessary, people not far away were alert and Airon pulled his gun straight out.

Everyone who knew more or less the situation ran to the back of the container, and immediately saw some people in the shadows pointing a cold gun over Lori's neck, and Lori who seemed to have lost consciousness motionless.

"I didn't expect so many to come out unseen!"

Airon muttered these words as he pointed the gun at the man's head.

A husky male voice came, causing Rick to frown slightly, it was such a familiar voice!

He had definitely seen this person somewhere, but where had I seen him? Rick rummaged through his memories, trying to find this familiar figure.

Airon did not notice the abnormal behavior of his friends around him. He first memorized the positions of some people, passed his sight back and forth and calculated the success rate if right now he shoots.

"How long have you guys been in this place?"

"We joined a few days ago, the people from this place were still inspecting us, so we didn't live in their building, but in a shack next door."

Rick raised his hand as Airon spoke, but the shadow blocked it and he couldn't see where he was pointing, but he kept talking.

"Listen, we just got here. We don't know who these people are and what their intentions are with us. I'm sorry for the people who kidnapped you, but we also have to think about our own safety, right?"

Nodding, Airon affirmed what the other party said.

"Of course, I can understand. You can come out and we'll talk about what you're asking for."

Holstering his pistol, he waved his hand at the people behind him, signaling them to step back first. And he too stepped back a little.

The last thing they can do now is to irritate the other party, they should do their best to calm them down, so Airon decided to let the people disperse first and he himself lowered his gun.

Of course, he is not stupid. The reason he dared to do this is because there are more than thirty people hiding in the dark in the forest. The people outside had not participated in the siege of this place, so they remained in the dark waiting for any hint of his help. Therefore, Airon relied on this advantage.

The man stood there cautiously, as if hesitating, knowing that the other party should not have too long a reaction time, so he quickly continued to exert pressure.

"What, I have already shown that I want to cooperate with you, now you must show me that you understand me. Do you think I am really afraid of you?" said Airon with an indifferent expression.

Hearing this, the man gritted his teeth, gestured to the four people behind him and then pulled Lori out of the shadows.

"Okay, we're here, can we discuss this and get out of here?"

The people had already retreated to a far distance, but they were still looking at this place with concern.

Rick's eyes swept over several people, finally settling on the man in the lead. His slightly short stature and that ordinary face did not remind him of anything, but when his eyes looked at him more closely, there was a sudden memory.

That's him!

She would never forget those long, narrow eyes, the blood-colored room, the dried human flesh and corpses on that military base. All those scenes surfaced in his mind.

These five people are the cannibals of the military base!

The ones he himself let go.
