Everyone makes decisions

Richmond, Virginia.

At the Shirewilt Estates community square.

Airon's group did not rest after arriving at the shelter, considering that there were enemies roaming around, this time Airon wasted no time and installed the steel plates on the outside of the buses.

It was all very simple but still, the appearance of these buses has undergone drastic changes. This can even give signs of safety and the journey afterwards can be much safer for people. The look of these big trucks with just a few modifications have become very intimidating.

The time needed to work on the safety of these three buses and a fourth counting the one his group had, it can be said that it took them numerous hours even if other people were involved.

After Airon decided to renovate these buses, everyone with skills participated. In just two days, everything was ready to leave this place.

But even if the work was concentrated, they heard from Bob's words that Ravi was in agony because of his serious injury.

Airon's group could tell that Ravi's wife was a little upset with their group, but in the last few days her attitude changed a little.

Just at this moment, a group of people were gathered in Ravi's room at this time, Airon was personally supervising as Bob tended to his wounds and as this was happening Ravi seemed to regain consciousness.

Looking at Airon, who was standing off to the side with people from his group, Ravi stopped them from checking him and administering more medication. Pulling his hand away from Bob, he shook his head slightly and said in a weak voice, "Airon, call my wife, I need to talk to her."

Airon looked at Ravi and said nothing, he didn't need to hear Bob's words to know that this man was about to die. He had seen this in some places, just before someone died something inside the human body sends a last signal from the brain, which increases hormone activity and this allows many in an agonizing state to stabilize for a few minutes or even hours.

But the people outside the door did not know this. They were all happy to see Davi's more stable state, and the happiest of all was naturally his wife. She was holding a bowl of soup and feeding her husband without saying a word, in the process her lips trembled slightly.

Ravi, who was leaning on the bed, just looked at his wife with a smile and enjoyed this moment without caring about absolutely anything else.

Ravi's wife noticed that something was not right with her husband, so she asked with a worried look, "Ravi, what is wrong with you? I should call Bob, I think you are not well..."

Ravi pushed his wife's hand that was holding a spoon with soup and then gently took her arm. With a deep expression of apology, he said to his wife, "Honey.... You know I am still determined to get everyone out of this place. It is impossible to continue living here because of the danger in the surrounding area. Those men can find this place at any time and I don't want them to be in danger."

Ravi's wife looked at him with a pained expression and said, "You look much better, you shouldn't worry about that kind of thing. I'll take good care of your body and we'll talk once you're better."

Ravi looked his wife in the eyes, then averted his gaze to the door and said, "Honey, help me call everyone, I have a few words to say to them."

After some time, a group of people quietly entered Ravi's room. Seeing his wife leave, Ravi did not want to drag out this meeting and said, "Listen, I don't have much time, so I will be frank with all of you! I hope this accident will not affect everyone's decision in leaving this place, we were suddenly attacked, so you should not blame anyone."

"That group that brought Noah have done their best to keep me safe, now I can only blame my bad luck, and now my only wish is that you take my wife with you when you leave this place. I don't want to know if she agrees to that, can you promise me that?"

"Bam!"

At this moment, there was a loud sound of glass shattering outside the door. Hearing this, Ravi sensed what had happened so he slowly turned his head and sure enough, he saw his wife standing in the doorway with tears in her eyes.

Sighing in pain, he signaled his wife to sit next to his bed, took her hand and then said, "Honey, you know it's no one's fault. Even though I was shot, I heard and could vaguely see that everyone did their best to protect me."

Hearing these words, all the people closed their eyes in pain to see Ravi in such a state, but at the same time they were more determined to leave this place and make Ravi's efforts and sacrifices worthwhile, while many in turn looked at Ravi's wife with a worried look.

...

Hours later, Ravi's condition grew worse and worse. In the evening, under candlelight, a middle-aged couple held hands. Ravi's wife's eyes were red but still she did not separate from her husband.

The people on the side wanted to approach and persuade her, but the old woman pulled out a knife and said coldly, "Listen, if any of you dare to separate me from my husband, I will not hesitate to stick this knife in my neck and die in this room."

"Please remember what your husband said!" A woman who knew this old woman approached, wanting to persuade her friend somehow.

However, the knife in Ravi's wife's hands came close to her neck and everyone panicked.

Unable to do anything else, they all said their goodbyes and left the room, leaving this couple alone.

Touching her husband's unconscious face, she smiled softly and said, "Ravi, remember that we swore to die together if we didn't have children, I still think that my life in this world has no meaning if you are not with me.

The woman lay down next to his wife, rested her head next to him and listened to the soft breathing of the man she had been in love with since she met him, closing her eyes wearily.

The people who left the room looked at each other and then all moved to their homes. They needed to keep getting their things ready to be ready and leave this place as soon as possible.

Just as everyone was halfway there, a high-pitched whistle sounded from the watchtower. Everyone stopped in their tracks, only to see Airon's group moving from afar.

At this moment, the outside was being invaded by walkers without anyone noticing!

Airon, who had received Liam's report climbed into the modified RV, looked around, only to discover that this situation was not good at all. A large number of walkers came out of the search and headed for the main entrance of the shelter.

With this, everyone in Airon's group figured out what had happened, the wolves had come to this place.

That's right, this was definitely done by wolves. To avenge the murder of dozens of people in their group, the other party even directly lured the walkers to attack this shelter! With the outside wires put up in the nearby trees and woods, it was impossible for there to be so many walkers.

The wolves in the original play are a group of ruthless characters who are not afraid of death and dare to wield knives, guns and any kind of object to do harm. But this time, Airon never thought they would be attacked by walkers.

"Chief! What should we do, we're surrounded!"

Airon silently looked at the walkers that were about to reach the gate. The main gate knows it can't hold much. Although this gate can withstand the force of thirty walkers, this time the number was still growing.

Spending ammunition and effort to clear these walkers is something Airon is not interested in, so he shouted to his group, "Inform everyone immediately, we must get out of this place!"

After saying those words, he was silent as he held his rifle, looking at the walkers in the distance and thought coldly about his next moves.
