"What happened?" the doctor asked, and then, seeing her face, raised his eyebrow and looked at the patient. "What's with you and the gunshots, huh?"

"I'm bulletproof, people don't like me, and the ricochets are random." She shrugged, throwing her companion on the bed. "This time, though, he had more luck than he could imagine."

The doctor glanced at his stomach, putting on latex gloves and he nodded with appreciation.
