Through Su Wen's editing, their love story was narrated simply yet romantically, interspersed with high-IQ humour typical of scientists. The token of their affection was a personally crafted box made by Su Xuewen for their wedding.

While the story itself was fictionalized by Su Wen, the box was real. Su Xuewen and Liu Mingxuan had indeed handcrafted it for their marriage.
