Through her younger sister, Su Wen got to know Su Xiaoya and gradually grew to enjoy the clever, cute little girl's company.
"Xiaoya, what's wrong?" Su Wen asked with a smile.
"Grandma Gou Dan went to the village chief's house to complain about you." Su Xiaoya panted heavily as she spoke. It was obvious she had come running as soon as she learned what Grandma Gou Dan was up to.
Su Wen was not surprised Grandma Gou Dan would try to settle the score with her.

"What are you going to do?" Su Xiaoya shuffled where she stood worriedly. So long as nothing happened to Aunty Su Wen, her younger sister would continue living a good life, and she could continue getting food. Su Xiaoya hoped with all her heart that her Aunty Su Wen would continue to be well.
