We finally arrived back home in Nevada, and I couldn’t have been more relieved, even as jet lag toyed with my senses. On the way home from the airport, I couldn’t help smiling as I gazed at the ring on my finger. I was married now, and to the love of my life, the man who sat in the driver’s seat next to me, driving his beast of a truck. He was the best thing that had ever happened to me. I reached over and touched his face, gently rubbing his stubble with my hands. He smiled, pressing his face in my hand and kissing my fingers.

I never thought that I’d be this in love with any man, let alone a wolf shifter.

I was happy to be going home. We made our way up into the mountains towards his village. I’d be stepping into Tristan’s house as his wife and Mate. According to Mother Alva, I was human and couldn’t legally be made his Luna. She said that no one in his pack would follow my command.
