Welcome, adventurers. You can call me Alcott, and I'm here to teach you how physical combat work.
As an adventurer, you have three physical stats:
Strength, Agility, and Constitution.
Strength represents your raw power and physical strength held within your muscles.
Agility is your nimbleness, flexibility, and endurance.
Constitution is the durability of your body and its ability to stay alive.
Strength=> More damage to your attacks.
Agility=> More speed and stamina.
Constitution=> More resistance and health.
An adventurer ability modifier is the mentioned stat divided by 2. I, for example, have 20 Agility, which means my Agility modifier is 10.
Each class has its stat modifier for HP, SP, and MP, they are as follows.
[Class][Class HP modifier][Class MP Modifier][Class SP modifier]
[Barbarian][13][1][12]
[Fighter][12][2][13]
[Paladin][11][6][10]
[Monk][10][5][9]
[Cleric][8][7][8]
[Ranger][9][4][11]
[Rogue][7][3][7]
[Bard][2][8][3]
[Wizard][3][12][4]
[Druid][6][10][6]
[Artifice][5][9][1]
[Summoner][1][11][2]
[Sorcorer][4][13][5]
As a fighter, and at level two, I had 46 stamina.
2*(13+10)
Level*(Class modifier+ Agility modifer)
Now that we got the numbers out of the way, your damage is usually the weapon base damage +strength modifier.
