Chapter 214: Selene who wanted to kill Michael

Selene immediately took out her gun and pointed it at Michael.

Seeing that gun, Michael who was standing there was shocked and scared. Then he swiftly hid behind Alex. Despite the fact that this man looked frightening, he felt staying behind him was better than with that woman, who always pointed her gun at him.

"Move aside," said Selene as she pointed her gun at Alex. Although she didn't know why the Lycans were following Michael. Since he was bitten he will soon turn into a Lycan so she will kill him before he completely turns into a Lycan.

This Selene is different compared to the movie. In the movie, Michael saved Selene from the car accident and treated her for she had a favourable expression, but because Alex saved Selene there was no affection for Michael in Selene's mind and she had only one thought, which is to kill him since he would soon turn into a Lycan.

"Lady why don't we talk like civilized people," said Alex with a smile not minding the gun,if it was somebody else who pointed the gun he will kill him since it is a beauty, Alex was calm and decided not to take it to heart.

"After I kill him we can talk," said Selene

"Really? " asked Alex.

Then he looked at Michael, who was hoping that Alex would say no to Selene.

"Sorry brother, I can't save you," said Alex as he moved aside.

Seeing this, Michael immediately hugged Alex's legs and started crying, begging for him to stay and help him.

" Please ...please, don't abandon me after you brought me here "

"If you leave me that woman will really kill me. I have no confidence to escape from her " said Michael with tears on his face, begging desperately for his life.

Seeing this Alex had a dumbfounded expression on his face. He had never expected that Michael would be so scared of Selene.

He then looked at Selene with a wry smile, unable to understand how a woman as small as her could make Michael so scared.

"Can't you kill him later after you find the reason why those guys were chasing him?" said Alex even though he didn't care whether Michael live or die. But seeing his pathetic face even made Alex feel some pity.

Hearing that Selene thought for a moment and put the gun down.

"Hey can you stop crying now?" said Alex as he kicked Michael away.

"Thank you...thank you...you" said Michael repeatedly

"Don't thank me you are temporarily safe not permanently. Even if you don't die today you will still be hunted down"

"What why ? " asked Michael with a face of grief.

"Before I say that let me explain the situation you are in," said Alex as he sat down on the sofa.

Then he motioned Michael and Selene to sit down.

"Let me tell you a part of history which you hadn't heard of before."

"I don't want to know history now? When my life is at stake " said Michael little angrily.

"Selene you can kill this guy " said Alex with a face of displeasure. He didn't like it when someone interrupts his explanation.

"No no ...please continue " said Michael as he waved his hands.

"In the early fifth century. A small village was ravaged by an unknown plague. All the villagers died, with the exception of one. His name is Alexander Corvinus. His body had adapted to the virus, and through some unknown process, made him the first true immortal.

"He had three sons, Marcus, and Willam and as for his third son, I don't know his name. They also inherited their father's bloodline. Marcus who was bitten by a bat turned into an immortal vampire. As for his brother William who was bitten by a wolf and turned into a lycan gaining immortality but also lost his mind as he couldn't control the power"

"As for his third son, he lived like a normal human and married and had descendants, and he is your ancestor Michael Corvin," said Alex.

"You possess the same genetic mutation in your genetics, as Alexander Corvinus the first immortal so that's why those guys were chasing you."

"Now since you are bitten by a Lycan you will soon turn into one " said Alex

"What you expect me to believe that ? " said Michael with a face of disbelief.

"You have to believe you were dragged into the vampires and Lycan war that has been going on for centuries," said Alex.

"And this lady is a vampire, and her speciality is killing lycans like you," said Alex

"You have seen many things beyond common sense today, you should also feel some memories coming into your mind " said Alex.

"No, this ... can't be?"

"I'm not human anymore ?" muttered Michael as his face lost all colour, it looked like he had lost all hope.

Seeing Michael's appearance, Alex shook his head. Alex could understand Michael's thoughts, and he could tell that he was overwhelmed. Well anyone would feel the same way in this situation. If suddenly one day you become a monster, it would be quite overwhelming. You would be scared of how people would react, and you would feel like you can't control what's happening to you.

"How do you know all this?" asked Selene who was calm up to now, even though she felt there was something wrong with history.

In Alex's description of the history, Marcus was the ancestor of vampires, whereas according to her knowledge, Victor is the first vampire.

But even so, she can't ignore how this man knows about Marcus, as he is a vampire elder normal humans shouldn't know about him.
