Chapter 033 Morning Bath
A red glow was still visible on the horizon when the sun had just shown itself. Anindira, who usually lazed around in Halvir's arms when she woke up in the morning, was now confused about what to do. Finally, she got out of bed and opened the window. The cold air immediately hit her face, making her shiver. Even so, she let it be and did not close the window to enjoy the morning atmosphere.
Slowly the sun continued to rise higher. Its light was dazzling, making Zia turn around after she had previously pulled the blanket, feeling the cold when Anindira had just opened the window.
''Zia, if you're awake, come on, get up!'' Anindira shouted, reprimanding her.
Even though she was lazy, Zia still got up, she sat on the edge of the bed facing Anindira, ''Have you been awake since earlier?'' asked Zia, who was still half-conscious and rubbing her eyes.
''Yes,'' Anindira answered, then looked back out of Zia's house window.
''Why are you awake so early?'' asked Zia, complaining. Zia lay back down with her back to the sunlight coming through the window, ''You can go back to sleep, wake up later when it's time to eat...'' Zia continued lazily while pulling the blanket over her head.
''At mealtime?!'' Anindira exclaimed in surprise, then immediately approached Zia on her bed, ''Zia, come on wake up now!''
''It's still too early,'' Zia answered in a whining tone that was drowned in the blanket.
''Let's take a shower!'' Anindira invited after patting Zia's shoulder.
''No way,'' Zia answered while shaking her head inside her blanket, ''Later, I'll take a shower when it's hot.''
''Zia!'' Anindira called whiningly, ''Don't be so lazy!'' while trying to open Zia's blanket.
''What?'' Zia asked with an annoyed expression because her sleeping time was disturbed.
''Your habit!'' Anindira exclaimed, grunting in annoyance in reply to Zia, ''Come on, get up and take a shower!'' she continued while shaking Zia's body.
Zia, who was still sleepy, was confused by Anindira's words.
Seeing Zia, who was still not fully awake, Anindira patted Zia's face lightly so that her spirit would immediately gather again.
''Hey, come on!'' Anindira exclaimed, ordering firmly, but laughter was visible on her face, ''Come on, let's freshen up!''
Zia forced herself to get up while sighing, even though it was clear on her face that she was too lazy to follow Anindira's wishes.
''You said you wanted your appearance to be like mine,'' Anindira said coaxingly, ''If that's true, don't be lazy!'' Anindira exclaimed again to coax her to wake up immediately.
''What does waking up early have to do with all that?'' Zia asked, whining with an annoyed expression because she was too lazy to wake up early. She wasn't used to it.
''Of course, it's related!'' Anindira exclaimed, bringing her face closer to Zia, ''Consistency is the main key to success!'' Anindira exclaimed again, seriously looking at Zia, ''Therefore, don't be lazy... the first thing is to get used to waking up early and taking a shower. I'll explain the next steps later...'' Anindira continued to persuade Zia while trying to lift her up.
''Ugh...'' Zia sighed, frowning at Anindira, ''Okay...'' Zia replied, giving in to Anindira's stubborn persuasion even though Zia was actually still lazy.
''Dad!'' Zia called.
''Dad!'' Zia called again because after waiting for a while no one came, ''Are you home?'' Zia asked, continuing her call while stepping out of the house.
A few moments later, Ruvi appeared to meet them both.
''What's wrong, Zia?'' Ruvi asked, patting Zia's head gently, ''Mischa is out hunting,'' Ruvi continued while rubbing Zia's head.
''Daddy Ruvi!'' Zia greeted him with a smile, ''Can you help us get down and accompany us to the river?'' Zia asked in a spoiled manner.
''But, it's still early Zia, why do you want to go to the river?'' Ruvi asked, confused by Zia's request.
''Want to take a bath,'' Zia answered innocently.
''Take a bath?!'' Ruvi exclaimed with a surprised face, ''It's still very early, what if you get cold later?!''
''But, I want to be like Anindira, she has good skin...'' Zia answered whining in the typical style of a girl who is being spoiled by her father, ''Anindira said that diligently waking up early and then taking a bath is one way to make it happen.''
''No way!'' Ruvi exclaimed firmly, forbidding, ''I'm worried you'll get sick later.''
''Anindira is fine!'' Zia exclaimed in denial, but still with a careful attitude, ''She's healthy, she has good skin and her hair is just like you, a man. Unlike me who is lumpy...'' Zia explained while making a pleading face to be allowed.
Mischa, Ruvi, Koza, Kaj, and Axel. They have paired up. Therefore, they do not pay attention to other women. So it is not surprising that Ezra's spouses do not realize that Anindira's physical appearance is slightly different from most women in this world. When Zia started to whine and explain, only Ruvi could see more clearly that what Zia said was true.
Anindira's physical appearance was much better than women's in general.
''Eum...'' Ruvi thought while squinting his eyes at Anindira, ''Anindira, is that true?'' Ruvi asked probingly.
''I think so,'' Anindira nodded in response, ''That's what I was taught,'' she continued confidently.
''But, what if you get sick from the cold when you take a morning shower,'' said Ruvi, still refusing by giving his opinion subtly to Anindira.
''I don't know here. But in my place, we are taught to wake up early and then take a shower immediately. Not only to freshen up, but also to clean ourselves. That way, not only will our appearance be better, but our health will also be maintained,'' Anindira explained, not wanting to lose.
''But, Anindira... The cold is a dangerous thing for women. Not a few women die from illness after being cold. I don't want that to happen, you women are weak, I don't want to take any risks!'' Ruvi rejected Anindira's argument.
Anindira chose to be patient and think carefully about Ruvi's words. What she did in the modern world could not necessarily be applied in the world of beasts. Previously she was sure, but seeing how worried Ruvi was. She also became hesitant. But Anindira still wanted to see the situation and conditions on the field so she could understand it better.
''Sorry, uncle...'' Anindira answered while bowing respectfully to Ruvi, who was older than she.
''Um... this is it... okay, it's okay, you can go to the river.''
Ruvi was moved to see how polite Anindira was. Ruvi was also happy because Zia looked very friendly and could accept Anindira. Seeing two teenage girls hanging out intimately. He couldn't bear to refuse.
''Anindira, are you used to doing it?'' Ruvi asked while rubbing Anindira's head.
''Yes,'' Anindira nodded with a smile, ''I do it because my grandmother and mother do it too.''
Ruvi's eyes twitched again, thinking about Anindira's words and her physical appearance.
''I'll take you to the river. But not to take a bath. I still can't let you take a morning bath!'' Ruvi exclaimed seriously, warning them both, ''Bring a coat and shoes, I don't want you to get cold!''
''OK…''
Anindira and Zia answered in unison with enthusiasm.
Ruvi was made to look at it with excitement. He shook his head seeing the cute behavior of the two teenage girls in front of him.
''You are so happy to have a new friend, Zia…'' Ruvi said in his heart, looking at his mate's only daughter. ''Thank you Anindira, this house is more lively now.''
