"What are you doing here?" Zane asked in disbelief.

Selena pressed a hand against her waist. Joshua's baby basket dangled from her other hand. She let her sharp gaze wander between Zane and Aiden.

Interesting, she thought.

It looked like only Brett was hung up with Zane. Not so with Zane. Zane had long found another beau in this pretty boy, Selena thought. Brett was the stupid one. He would rather remain unmarried his entire life, sacrificing his eternal happiness for someone who did not deserve him at all.

Selena scoffed.

Well, this was even better than she thought. This useless mating bond was just going to be a hindrance to both her and Zane. In that case, maybe Zane could be persuaded to dissolve the mating bond. That would make things easier for Selena.

"I am here to talk. Can we go somewhere quiet?" she asked.

Baby Joshua squeaked happily in his basket, drawing both vampires' attention.

"Let's go to my dorm then," Zane offered.
