Fire associations

Raena approached Drakun after seeing how Akaz's suggestion worked.

"Good afternoon," She said.

"Good afternoon, are you ready to go?" He asked, and she nodded, and then the portal opened up in front of them, and they both entered.

They arrived in the mansion's living room after a few minutes, and Raena looked at her hand, remembering that she has her own guide to help her with her abilities.

"Do you want something to eat or drink, Lady Raena?" Drakun asked as she stared at him, and he remembered she didn't want him calling her lady, but it was a habit that would take time to break.

"No, thank you, I am not hungry, I had food not so long ago, I would like to go to my room and do something," She responded and he smiled.

"Sure, go ahead, call on me if you need anything, I won't be far," He said and she smiled.

Raena then went to her room, locked the door and sat down on her bed.

"Sure, go ahead," she replied, "I need to know as much as I can if I'm going to learn how to use it."

Some users may be able to draw nourishment from the fire.]

"Which means that with the right training, I might be able to do it as well," Raena said.

[Yes, you will; training to master the fire ability will be difficult because it is one of the most complicated to learn and will require a lot of time and concentration.]

"I understand, I'll just have to give it my all, this is the only other thing that a part of me and new, it feels good to have, just tell me a few more basics I should know to start," Raena replied.

"I can learn all of that by mastering my fire ability, which is harder than it sounds, but there are limitations, fire to water, what are the limitations?" She inquired.

"Got it," Raena said, taking a deep breath and closing her eyes to focus on the energy within her body.

She smiled as she reopened her eyes and saw her reflection in the mirror, her eyes glowing orange.

'No matter what, I will learn in the best way I can,' She thought before her eyes returned to normal.

Raena then took out the book Akaz had given her, opened it, and began reading it, only to be surprised at how many different types of magic there were.

She went through it for hours, trying to learn more and understand how magic worked especially fire, but in doing so, she lost track of time and didn't realize how late it had gotten.

Someone knocked on her door while she was reading, and she got out of bed, opened the door, and saw it was Drakun.

"Hello," She said as he looked at her before peeking into the room and smiling.

"Dinner in fifteen minutes, do you think you'll be ready?" He asked and she nodded.

"Good, you can read later, don't go hurting your head." He then left and she exhaled deeply as she realized it was already night.

Raena then tidied up her room, placed the book on her desk, grabbed her clothes, and went to the bathroom to freshen up.

"Is she coming?" Akaz asked as he sat down and Drakun smiled.

"Yeah, she will be down in fifteen," He responded and Akaz glanced at him.

"What are you smiling about?" Akaz asked and Drakun glanced at him before sitting down.

"She's trying hard to learn what she can; all you need to do is teach her how to use it so that she can go and come whenever she wants without having to wait or so."

Akaz's eyes narrowed while looking at Drakun then he sighed and poured himself a glass of wine to drink while waiting.
