Chapter45: Pups

Chase hadn't really thought about being marked by Morgan or the conversation about surrogates until he worked with Korrin the next week. When he walked through the door she looked up at him and smiled brightly.

“Chase!” she cheered, walking over to him. When she got closer her gaze shifted to his neck and her smile widened. “Congratulations,” she said, grinning.

Chase frowned and gave her a confused look. “On what?”

She motioned to her own neck briefly. “Morgan marked you,” she explained with a chuckle.

Chase felt his cheeks heat up as he brought a hand up to cover the spot Morgan had marked. “Yeah,” he smiled shyly. “It was great,” he admitted.

Korrin laughed. “Don't worry, I won't make you go into detail. I know mate marking is intimate, that’s something that should stay between the two of you unless you want to tell others.”

Chase nodded and relaxed, removing his hand after another moment. “Is it obvious?” he asked.
