Evelyn was confused. Arthur could see this very well.
How innocent! He thought.
This was what the girls in his class lacked who tried to pursue him. There were only a few because rest of them felt scared of Arthur's coldness and indifference.
He suddenly understood why he never felt interested in them.
The liveliness and innocence of Evelyn was something that he never found anywhere. She was so innocent that she would not even feel scared of him.
His eyes suddenly went to her lips. They were pink…and very soft.
He thought when his fingers unconsciously touched them. But the touch didn't last for long because Evelyn suddenly pushed his hand away and then ran out of the room.

.
.
Evelyn exited Arthur's room.
Her hands were slightly trembling. She felt scared of the look in his eyes. In the past, Arthur had been cold usually but he had never looked at her like this…and he had never touched her before like that.
