Flashpoint Memory! (50th chapter special)

Barry smiled and said "there is one memory that I fondly remember, me and Kara....." .

Flashpoint, twelve days after Barry and Kara found out They were having a daughter,

Barry rubbed the sweat of his forehead as he finished painting the first wall in the baby room. He took a step back and smiled a little. He felt two arms wrap around him from behind and then Kara burying her face into his back. Barry chuckled and said "hey you". Kara smiled and mumbled "hey honey". Barry smiled and turned around to face his wife. He smiled more and wrapped his arms around her waist and pecked her on the lips. Kara smiled and said "I'm sorry I'm late, I stopped off at Jitters and got us some lunch". Barry smiled and said "it's ok Kara, thanks, I'm starving". Kara smiled and said "the wall looks good Bar, I just wish I was here to help". Barry smiled and said "you are now Kara, that's what matters, and are you sure you want to quit at Catco". Kara nodded and said "yeah, I want to help you with your projects at the lab, and focus more on us and our little baby girl, I love spending time with my husband". Barry smiled more and said "ok, it'll be nice to get to spend more time with you too". Kara smiled and said "thanks Bar Bar". Barry smiled more and said "I was thinking, after we have lunch and get these walls painted, or at least another one or two, it took all morning to do just that one, I ended up getting another shade of pink and painting over the first pink we chose because the first paint was horrible and looked more purplish than pink". Kara giggled and asked "really". Barry nodded and said "so I was thinking, we could go around to the mall, and we can start looking at the baby clothes". Kara smiled from ear to ear and asked "really". Barry nodded and said "we aren't in a rush to do the baby room, I mean we still need to get a cot, finish painting the walls, we need to get some drawers for the baby clothes, Maybe a play mat and all that too, so I was thinking we could maybe make a start on baby clothes, I know how much you've wanted to start looking at them, I want to start looking too and I just want to see you gush at all the tiny clothes". Kara giggled and said "thanks Bar, I'd love to start looking at them, little Dawn is gonna look so cute". Barry smiled and placed his hand on Kara's small baby bump. He said "yeah she is, She is gonna look adorable like her mother". Kara smiled more and said "thanks honey, you do know that you are adorable too". Barry chuckled and said "thanks babe". Kara smiled and said "come on, let's eat lunch before we continue". Barry smiled and said "ok babe, you are gonna want to put on older clothes though, don't want you getting this nice dress ruined". Kara nodded and said "ok honey, I can wear my old jeans and that white top, They are old anyway, I need to go clothes shopping for new clothes anyway, some to fit me when this gets bigger and for after I've given birth and can fit in smaller clothes again". Barry nodded and smiled at Kara. He said "yeah, you know you look nice in casual clothes". Kara smiled and said "yeah but I love the dresses and that too". Barry said "I know, I do too, but you look good with anything on". Kara smiled more and pecked Barry on the lips. She said "thanks Bar, now come on, let's go eat then I can get changed, and Maybe after we're done painting, we can take a shower together before we go look at the teeny tiny cute baby clothes". Barry chuckled and nodded.

After having lunch, Kara changed into casual clothes and tied her hair up. Barry already made a start on the second wall. Kara walked in and said "babe, I thought we were doing it together". Barry smiled at Kara and said "I literally just started painting this wall, I heard you coming so I made a start, the faster we get these two walls done, the faster we can get to the mall". Kara smiled and said "ok honey, I'll start at this side and we'll meet in the middle". Barry nodded and said "sounds good honey". Kara smiled and lifted up a paint roller and started to work on her side of the wall. Barry smiled more and said "it's still hard to believe that in a few short months, we'll have a little adorable baby girl". Kara smiled and said "I know, to be honest, I'm kind of nervous, but I know we'll be ok, we have you". Barry smiled and said "I'm nervous too babe". Kara nodded. She asked "what are you most looking forwards too". Barry smiled and said "holding her for the first time". Kara smiled and said "I think you'll be a great dad". Barry smiled and said "thanks honey, I think you'll be an amazing mum, you're already a great wife". Kara smiled more and said "I'm so very glad that we stuck together Barry, anybody else probably would have left me if They ended up in a new timeline with a wide They weren't married to before". Barry smiled and said "Kara, I would always Make the choice to stay with you, leaving you just isn't an option for me, I would never hesitate to choose you every time, you mean more than the world to me and you did before I changed the timeline, you always will mean more than the world to me". Kara smiled and wiped away a tear that fell from her eye. She said "that's why I love you so much Barry, you are so kind and amazing, you always put others before yourself and I'm really lucky that I get to call you my husband". Barry smiled and said "I'm lucky that I get to call you my wife Kara, I'm so lucky that I get to wake up next to you feeling loved". Kara smiled and pecked Barry on the cheek. She said "you deserve it Bar, after the two years you had as the Flash and the life you had growing up, you deserve to be happy". Barry smiled and said "so do you". Kara smiled more as they continued to paint the wall.

As they finished painting their second wall, Kara had snuck over to Barry and used the paint roller on his arm. Barry chuckled and asked "oh is this how you want to play Mrs Allen". Kara said "don't even think about it Barry". Barry chuckled and before Kara could even run, Barry had used his paint roller on her arm. Kara huffed and said "I managed to not get paint on myself and you ruined it". Barry smiled and put his paint roller down on a tray. He smiled and took Kara's and put it down as well. He then wrapped his arms around her waist and asked "yeah, is someone annoyed". Kara smiled as she wrapped her arms around Barry's neck. She said "I could never be annoyed at you Barry". Barry smiled more and said "to be fair though, you deserved it, I didn't know you were gonna do that". Kara giggled and said "it was too tempting". Barry smiled and said "as for the paint on the arm, I guess we're gonna have to clean each other then huh". Kara blushed as she sorted her glasses. She said "I guess we are Mr Allen". Barry smiled and leaned towards her. Kara got impatient and smashed her lips into Barry's. Barry chuckled and kissed back which caused Kara to smile. Barry lifted her up by the waist and Kara wrapped her legs around his waist. Barry smiled and carried her into the bathroom and kicked the door shut.

A couple of hours later

Barry and Kara walked together hand in hand as They came out of the big belly burger inside Central City mall. Kara smiled and with excitement, said "come on, can we now go look at the teeny baby clothes, I want to go look at baby clothes". Barry smiled and said "sure, come on then". Kara squealed with excitement and said "yes, you are the best babe". Barry smiled and said "I just love seeing you smile Kara, it makes me happy". Kara smiled more and said "Bar, whenever you are around, I always have a smile on my face, you Make me really happy too". Barry smiled more and said "I'm glad, now come on, I'm excited too". Kara giggled and said "yeah, I can't wait, why does it have to be at the opposite side of the mall". Barry said "I honestly don't know Kar". Kara nodded and rested her head on his shoulder. Barry smiled more and asked "how are you feeling though Kara". Kara smiled and said "I'm good Bar, I'm think I'm starting to crave more things now, I so badly want white chocolate". Barry chuckled and said "when you are looking at some clothes to get for the later stages of pregnancy and for after the pregnancy, I'll go get you some white chocolate". Kara pouted and said "but I need you with me Bar, I don't want to be left alone". Barry asked "is this your pregnancy hormones starting to show". Kara said "no, I just really want to be with you whenever I can". Barry smiled and pecked her on the temple. He said "ok, we'll get you some white chocolate first, you can have that while we look for clothes for you and at the baby clothes". Kara smiled and said "thanks honey, that is an idea I really agree with". Barry chuckled and said "anything for you Mrs Allen". Kara giggled and said "you really are the best husband ever". Barry smiled more and said "thanks honey, you are the best wife a guy could ask for". Kara smiled more and said "you're gonna end up making me cry of happiness, I don't like these hormones". Barry chuckled and said "if you cry, I'm here with you babe, I won't judge you if you do". Kara smiled more. She said "thanks Bar". Barry smiled and said "it's really no problem Kara".

The two stopped by a store to get Kara some white chocolate. They then walked into another store. Barry asked "Bar by clothes or your clothes first". Kara smiled and said "my clothes first, I want to save the best for last, and we are gonna be a while with them, I just want to look at all the teeny little clothes, Maybe even the teeny tiny shoes or the teeny tiny hats". Barry chuckled and said "ok, your clothes first, come on then, I think the woman's section is this way". Kara smiled more and nodded. She asked "what size should I get for the later stages of pregnancy". Barry said "uh, I'm not honestly sure". Kara said "uh, well maybe we should just get the new clothes for after the pregnancy then and just wait until this baby bump gets bigger". Barry smiled and said "sounds good honey". Kara nodded and said "you can definitely notice a difference now though, I used to be able to hide it but now it's Instead bigger, it's so weird but I love it, especially when we are snuggled up and you rub it, it's nice and soothing to be honest". Barry smiled and said "I just love the fact that our little girl is growing in there". Kara smiled and said "me too, you know, in the movies, all the husband's barely let the wife do anything when they are pregnant". Barry chuckled and said "honey, you are three months pregnant, I'm not stopping you from doing things, I'm not a super over protective husband, I know that you can take care of yourself, you aren't fragile, in the later stages you will literally not be able to do much, but I don't want you feeling useless and left out, the things you can do, you can do them, and the things you can't, I'll help with if you need it". Kara smiled and said "I know I keep saying this but you Barry Allen, are the best". Barry smiled and said "I'm just speaking the truth, you Mrs Allen, can take care of yourself, you don't need me". Kara said "now that isn't true Bar, I need you more than you know". Barry smiled and said "thanks Kara, I need you more than you know too". Kara smiled and said "ok, I'm definitely gonna cry, I need to hug you". Barry chuckled and said "come here babe". Kara smiled and hugged Barry As she started to sob. Barry hugged her back and smiled. Kara buried her face into his chest As he rubbed her back. Kara sniffed and said "I love you so much". Barry smiled and said "I love you too". Kara sniffed again and said "I hate hormones". Barry chuckled and said "you won't have to deal with them once Dawn is born". Kara smiled and said "unless we give her a little brother or sister, I wouldn't mind having more than one kid Bar". Barry smiled and said "me neither, but let's see how we do with Dawn first". Kara giggled and said "Dawn is gonna be perfect Barry, She is gonna be just like you". Barry chuckled and said "and you Kara, I just hope she doesn't gain the habit of blaming herself when things go wrong even though it's not her fault". Kara smiled and said "Bar, it just shows how selfless you are". Barry smiled and said "I guess". Kara smiled more and wiped her tears away. She said "come on Mr, we have clothes to by and then baby clothes to buy, I want to buy baby clothes". Barry chuckled and said "I'm starting to think you love baby clothes more than me". Kara pouted and said "so not true Barry, I wouldn't want to be here if you weren't, even if there were lots and lots of baby clothes, I love you more and I can prove it right now". Barry smiled and asked "in the middle of a clothes store". Kara said "I don't care if people sees it, it just shows that I love my husband". Barry smiled more. Kara smiled and kissed Barry while she grabbed his shirt collar and pulled him closer. Barry kissed back As he held onto her waist.
