Why is Viserys still healthy? Especially when Aemond and the others have grown up?

•He did get the cut however I slowed his disease due to which he is comparatively healthy compared to in the show.

Why is Jacaerys heir instead of Lucerys?

•The reason is that Baelon is alive and it would be suspicious to make Lucerys heir. Jacaerys is after all the firstborn and heir to Velaryons.

Why does Aemond still have his eyes?

•The reason is Laena Velaryon is not dead and did not marry Daemon. She is seven years younger than her age in the show.

The Velaryons did not approach Viserys for marriage because Laena was simply five namedays. Hence Allicent was the only competition. Due to this Aemond never got a chance to claim Vhagar since Laena already had done so making him dragonless.

Why did Viserys marry again despite having a male heir?

•Usually two males are needed so in case if the primary one dies, the second can take his place but that is not the reason since Rhaenyra was already named Regent. The real reason is because Viserys was horny.

Has the war of the Stepstones finished?

•It has not. The SeaSnake is currently fighting it hence he could not attend the Small Council meeting, replacing him with Tyland Lannister. Daemon has not yet entered the war, uncrowned as a result.

How could Baelon see his surroundings despite his eyes being closed?

•Similar to bats, Baelon uses the concept of Echolation which like Sonar forms pictures but in the mind. As for why he can not see during daylight, it is mainly because of Ultra Violet rays and his senses being heightened. So he had been fighting in the previous chapter with his eyes closed.
