Cass, Saifei, and Luoyang enjoyed a pleasant dinner, lifting their spirits. Cass sensed the palpable relief emanating from the original. As they wrapped up their meal, Cass glanced at his vibrating phone.

Saifei, observing him, inquired, "Is everything alright?"

Cass looked up and shared, "Shaotian invited me to stay overnight at his place. Do you mind If I go?"

Saifei responded, "Not at all. Does Minglan know? She's dining with them."

Cass explained, "I'm aware. I told him to message me once she's gone. The less I encounter her, especially now that she's upset with me, the better."

Curiosity sparked, and Luoyang asked, "What happened?"
