3.40 Silent Shackles

Viola entered the interrogation room and took a seat. She observed the officer uncuffing one of her wrists and then cuffing her to the table.

He stated before leaving, "Your lawyer will be here shortly."

Viola glanced at the closed door and then looked down. She couldn't believe she was in this situation; the police had more than enough evidence to name her the mastermind.

What she despised most was that Claudia and Isaiah were scot-free, as she was the only one who had talked to Lexa. Not only was Cass still alive, but she might spend the rest of her life in prison.

As her lawyer entered, she relaxed a little. He took a seat and inquired, "How are you doing?"

Viola exclaimed, "How do you think I'm doing? This is hell. You need to get me out of this."
