3.35 Reunited

Alexander entered the restaurant and followed a woman who led him to the private room. Upon entering, he saw that Valerian was already there and stood up to hug him. Alexander reciprocated and asked, "Have you been waiting long?"

Valerian shook his head and replied, "No, I just arrived." He pulled Alexander to take a seat and noticed that he looked nervous. "What's wrong?" he asked.

Alexander replied, "I'm wondering how it went with Cass." Cass was Valerian's son, and Alexander knew that if Cass refused to move away, Valerian wouldn't either, which was understandable.

Valerian said, "I asked if he would be open to moving to another planet first without being specific, and he said that he would like to move to Xerion-9."

Alexander looked surprised and asked, "Why there?"

Valerian said, "He said that it's where Bastian and Alexander live."
