Yawen entered his office and closed the door behind him. He took a seat and dialed Shuo. His heartbeat quickened when it rang. They haven't seen each other for days now.

Shuo is always swamped at work. At least tonight, he'll get to see him.

"Hello."

"Hey, how are you?"

Shuo simply answered:

"Fine."

Seeing that he wasn't talkative, Yawen said:

"I'm calling to invite you to dinner tonight, at my house."

"I can't. You know I've had to do everything on my own."

Yawen said:

"I understand, it's just that Caspian is coming back today."

Shuo froze and asked:

"Did you speak to him?"

"He sent a text to my parents and me, saying he'll be home for dinner."

Shuo asked:

"Did he tell you where he's been, all this time?"

"Except for the first text we received the day he disappeared saying he secluded himself and this one, he hasn't said anything more."

Shuo looked down, thinking.

"I have to go. Send me the details for tonight."

Before Yawen could say more, Shuo hung up.
