WHO IS THE ONE INSIDE ME? bonded through the soul...

Date 2019, March.

Texas, 2 am,

In the middle of the night, it was completely dark with no lights, but a beam of light from the street fell on her face,

she was terrified, the windows were fluttering and making a terrible eolian sound, and there is no one around not even a single fly, the wind blows in and out making the fluttering sounds even worse.

Each time it makes a sound, her heart skips a beat out of fear,

Era, a junior Doctor was sitting in front of the mortuary door and crying helplessly.

She was all alone and had nothing but a lot of dead bodies around her. she tried everything to get some help. But no one, nothing seems to be working out there.

"why me? why it has to be me? what I did do wrong??" she cried with grief,

suddenly there was a sound of footsteps and the door opened in an instant, someone grabbed her from behind before she could see.

she screamed...but no use...

"ahh...aah..help"

but not anymore..silent.. everything was silent again…the girl disappeared, and no one knows where she was, it became a terror for all the others in that hospital that a girl disappeared in the middle of the night, from then on no one ever dare to come out of their rooms at night....until, Eva a girl joined the hospital two years later.

It was a new environment and everybody there was getting familiar with each other.

Eva was walking with her friend Lara, in the corridor.

"Finally we are here at 'TEXAS, HEALTHY LIFE multi- specialty teaching Hospital ', it feels good, isn't it,"

said Lara.

"Ya...hmm" replied Eva.

"I heard a lot of rumors recently"

Lara asked,

Eva is always enthusiastic about solving mysteries, so when she heard Lara talking about something interesting, she excitedly asked,

"What rumors?"

" hmm...which room is your's" asked Lara.

"umm... room no. 40 I think..and what about that ?"

Eva replied.

" that no.40, I heard something about that, ..the last one on the floor, right," said Lara, 

" What did you hear Lara, it's your first day and you are ready for gossip," Eva replied. 

" no it's not just gossip, I heard there's a rumor about that room?" Lara said

" rumor .... about the room, and what is it? "Eva asked sarcastically

"they say, a girl who lived there went missing suddenly, no one knows how she disappeared everyone in my room is frightened to go out at night, and you know they don't even talk about her anymore?", said Lara

"well, that doesn't bother me, even if anything happens I am always ready to take it..." Eva replied carelessly.

"you are a unique piece"

They were going on with their chit chat but suddenly, one of the nurses in the ER interrupted them, he said

" hey guys are you free,  there's an emergency and we are short in hand, please guys rush to the ER, ....come fast.."

saying this he rushed down towards the ER.

Eva was shocked to hear that call, ER (emergency room) is the only place where she would never want to go ... because the fearless, brave  Eva is homophobic, not ghosts, nor fights, she fears blood,

When she was a kid, while traveling with her grandma, she had an accident, in which her grandma was brutally injured in front of her eyes, soaked in blood, screaming with pain, after struggling a lot she died in Eva's arms.

she was just eight years old back then, and she couldn't do anything to help her grandma, she cried, and tried to stop the blood from oozing out, with her little hands, she was helpless and was with her dead grandma for four hours until the rescue team arrived and that incident left a great impact on her. from then Eva fears blood.

It was her grandma's wish that Eva has to be a doctor, like her father... but .. with her condition, it was nearly impossible to be a doctor but Eva loves challenges,

Eva's father owns a chain of hospitals, and he is also an efficient doctor. She somehow managed her college but now she is here for her residency. she is here for a degree and that's it.

She was very good at management, and always wished to maintain her father's business but, her grandma's last wish changed all her ambitions, and here she goes through the struggle to become a doctor.

She is brave enough to fight with anyone, who comes in her way, and intelligent to solve any kind of mystery, but when it comes to blood, she is blacked out.

She always tries to avoid going to the ER, but when she was a student, it was fine,  but now being a resident it's hard to avoid it. So now she had to go,  with a huge burden on her heart, a fear that she might be caught, she must go.

When they rush to the ER, the scene there was so horrible. There was a bus accident, and more than seven people were injured. Everybody there was in a rush. Running here and there. blood all over ...it was all a mess.

When Eva saw that, she could hardly breathe ..there was a ringing sound in her ears.... seeing blood makes her dizzy and sometimes she even faints. Doctors, Nurses.. everyone was busy.

Doctor David was the only Chief surgeon available at that time, and he was so much engaged there with the patients. Suddenly one of the patients was brought in with a stream of blood coming out of his abdomen.

David managed to stop the blood but, it was so much blood to be stopped by his hands.

Looking here and there, he called for help

"Someone please come here..!!" everybody else was busy. He saw Eva staring from the door with a doctor's coat in her hands and called her,

'' hey there...come here, this patient needs help...come fast," he said.

Eva was devastated, she could hardly hear David's voice. Using all her strength she tried to get there but on her way she crashed.

Lara rushed towards her, but David shouted

"This patient needs you more!!".

As David was their superior and a very arrogant person, though he is handsome because of his attitude no one dares to offend him.

Lara couldn't refuse to help him and went there leaving behind Eva but, suddenly Dr.Ben came to the rescue, he is a neurologist, brilliant surgeon, and a very handsome and friendly man, He saw Eva unconscious, and took her to a bed nearby. After assuring them that she is s fine, he went to check on his patients.

Eva was unconscious for the whole day, she finally opened her eyes in the evening and saw Lara sitting next to her.

"Hey, Eva are you alright? I was scared to death, what's wrong with you? "said Lara.

"hmm. I am fine now, but where I am ?"

Eva was shocked to see herself in her room back.

"How did I get back here? " she asked.

"Dr. Ben, brought you here, you were lucky, it was him or else David sir was ready to eat us up...my god,  he is horrified when he is angry...I was shivering all the time when I was there to assist him in the OR," replied Lara

" Oh .. yes don't forget, David sir asked you to come to his office, when you are awake".

"What !!!" Eva jumped with shock "what do you mean, in the office.., why...??".

"Oh, no did he guess something...oh ho. I am gone I am dead ...oh my secret" Eva thought to herself.

"hey come on... it's not like he'll eat you up... ha. I  don't think It'll be that serious, maybe for a regular check-up or something .. don't panic, you fainted before him, being your attending surgeon of course he would worry " said Lara.

"ya, it's nothing...I know it won't be that serious..by the way,...I feared for nothing in my life...so it's ok...I am not tensed at all.."

said Eva.

she only fears getting caught....!!

Eva's mind was about to burst. She got up and walked along the corridor, ...everybody there was staring at her, whispering something to each other.

she noticed them but she had some more things to worry about. Eva was concerned about her secret being revealed.

Lara came running after her,

"let me come with you"

Eva relaxed a bit after seeing her. They both went to Dr. David's office. ...

though Lara was with her Eva knows that she has to fight the battle behind the door all alone, and just thinking about it gave her cold sweats.....
