Just Hate Me

I rubbed my eyes to double-check check I was seeing things correctly.

...No, it's definitely reality.

Minori was standing a few feet away with a blank expression, save for her widened eyes staring straight at me. My first honest thought was that I was imagining things, but even after realizing that it wasn't one, I wasn't any less dumbstruck.

She definitely noticed that my eyes were on her, but I didn't say anything. I simply didn't know what to say in the first place.

Arianne looked at her with a curious expression, while Jess narrowed her eyes ever so slightly. As for Nathan, his back was facing her. Somehow, I felt he knew that Minori was there, but had no plans to turn around and acknowledge her existence.

Minori had one hand holding onto her wrist while the arms were hanging down. She tightened her grip for a moment before speaking up.

"B-Bryson?"

I blinked a few times.
