Baelon's Diary, First entry.

Late 111 A.C

Dear Diary,

Today was my 6th nameday, I received this book as one of my gifts, mayhaps my reputation as a gifted child got too widespread. I thought that since both Arslan and Harris wrote Diaries, then I could do the same in this life.

That is right, I am Baelon Targaryen, son of Viserys I Targaryen and Aemma Targaryen née Arryn. But before that I was someone else, I was Arslan the Liberator, Zhuge Liang the Strategist, Geralt of Rivia the Witcher, and Harris Preston the 21-century history buff who was quite fond of a certain franchise.

One written by none other than our favorite tormentor, George R.R Martin.

It was very disorienting, having the memories and skills of three formidable men, and one not so formidable, shoved into my head as a baby. I spent moons just staring at the ceiling having an existential crisis. Thankfully, it seems the only set of memories that firmly imprinted itself on my mind were Prestons.

However, I realized as time went on that I preserved several traits from my other memories. Like Zhuge Liang's placid, calculating nature and intelligence, Arslan's observant eyes and ability to just... know other people, and I would find people unknowingly standing at attention when I channeled Geralt's intense gaze.

Being an unremarkable man who lived an unremarkable life, you notice the difference in your behavior quite easily. Recognizing that I now had the general fondness that most Ancient Chinese people had for the color Purple, a new appreciation for silence, and the habit of keeping a slight smile on my face didn't take a long time.

Objectively thinking, I figured that whatever did bring me here had a clear objective. Keeping this place from imploding. Because not only did I get the comprehensive knowledge and experience of three legendary figures, I noticed that I may have received two other boons.

Firstly, I noticed that my body has the watered-down benefits that a witcher may get after going through the experiment, not completely inhuman, but superior to any other foe I may encounter. Secondly, remember the egg that Daemon stole for his imaginary child with Misayra? Yeah, that hatched some months after I was born, and for all intents and purposes, my dragon wasn't supposed to grow that fast.

Xyrax is almost one and a half larger than Seasmoke, the dragon older than it by more than four years. He is a resplendent purple dragon with golden lines that connect onto his brow like a crown, a Dragon fit for a King, I once heard a particular courtier describe him as such.

As for the political situation, Rhaenyra, my dear sister, resents for apparently taking away our mother, although she doesn't particularly show any desire towards the Throne, so that's a relief.

Apart from that, there wasn't any deviation from the plot. Criston Cole got admitted to the Kingsguard due to Rhaenyra's favor, Father still married Alicent and currently has two children with her, the four-year-old Aegon and the one-year-old Aemond.

Daemon came back this year, he gave his crown to Father, f*cked half the maids, tried something with Rhaenyra, then he got chased out by Father, again.

Tomorrow I start martial training, so that's neat.

This is kind of a info dump chapter, enjoy.
